Ah the sweet sting of rejection.

EDIT, C3, quite the fall from grace.

Suffice to say a few blokes will be playing who will be a touch above C3 standard now.

In comparison to C3 of previous years yes, however, in comparison to the teams you're playing, less so.

I just wonder whether the stigma of playing 'C3' deters some blokes from playing in that grade.

Looking around I think there's a decent chance that C3 might wind up being a higher standard than C2. And yep, between that and the logistical pain in the arse of splitting the sides for away games this is all disappointing.

EDIT - particularly given C5 is starting a week before C3!

FFS!

Double EDIT - Actually, they've matched C3 and C5 up pretty well all things considered. Some odd anomalies with C5 playing the 2:15 game and C3 the 12:00 pm game.

I would have thought HV and North Haven would be in C4 with the other Div 4 clubs. That would give C4 7 teams who's A's and B's are in the same division and great for reciprocal triple headers. Could swap Plympton, Mitcham or Seaton into C3 for HV and NH

Plus both clubs results in the C grade over the last few years against Div 1,2 & 3 C grade sides hasn't been the best

Considering the circumstances, they've done a good job. Would've been a nightmare to program.

One tricky Division.

Some of these 'C and D' grade sides will surely be quite strong. TTG had some quality last year from what I saw.

Will be really interesting to see how it pans out over the season.

I suspect some of the PAOC blokes will be in for a bit of a culture shock as they run around at North Pines, Central United and Salisbury West.

Will still be a bloody strong side.

PAOC would've played Westies in previous years.

The built in GPS in the Beamer will get a workout though this year

The great benefit of this is us and TTG can finally be the lab rats for Marbles D7 theories.

Didn't they do this a few years back too? From D6/D7 to a C grade?
