With butter, not margarine, juicy sultanas. One of life's pleasures.

I don't discriminate - i'll eat a finger bun with or without sultanas and with or without butter.. I'm no hater, I'm an equal opportunity finger bun eating machine

I prefer to just watch Q eat his finger buns in one mouthful...
For what its worth, i believe there is excessive amounts of butter applied.

If it has Sultanas it must have a copious amount of butter to take away the Sultana taste.
If its Sultana free it doesnt need butter

Not a fan. My old man used to love them. Remember old family holidays when he used to go to the local country bakery, grab a 6 pack then come back to the cabin and ask how many my Mum and I wanted knowing we would always say none.... He would then go on to smash all 6.
He now is a diabetic....
There was no point asking him what his favourite ones were as I doubt any of these touched his palette....

What a sick bunch of replies I have just read.
Tip Top van coming around at 7am back in the late 70s early 80s.
20 cents a bun - full of sultanas & currants plus the fudge icing on top.
Lathered with real butter.
Welcome too my world.
Just quietly I'm a baker by trade of 30 years.
I know my shit.
