I’ll start the ball rolling…..

Looks like a good comp his year - Broadies, PHOS Campden, Geppies, Fitzroy, The Blacks, Seaton Ramblers all new to the grade, with only the Raggies (2013 Premiers), Plympton, Portland and Elizabeth returning.

How are numbers looking for all the C Grade teams? As at 18/2/2014 the player movements into and out of clubs listed on the SAAFL web site show that the numbers are generally breakeven but at the moment it looks like PHOS Camden has lost a few players and Portland has gained a few – how will this affect the lower grades. With 7 weeks to go I am sure there is will still be a flood of clearances to be lodged.

Should also be a good competition, with the top 2 teams from C3 coming up (Seaton Ramblers (Premiers) and Fiztroy (Runner ups)) and three C1 teams coming down (Adelaude Uni, Gepps Cross and PHOS Camden! Not sure where Broadies are coming form.

7 weeks to go to Round 1
Broadview vs PHOS Camden
Gepps Cross vs Fitzroy
Athelstone vs Adelaide University
Plympton vs Seaton Ramblers
Portland vs Elizabeth

Bring it on.

5 Weeks is a long time in football.

Round 1 is now:
Elizabeth vs Seaton Ramblers
Broadview vs Plympton
Gepps Cross vs Fitzroy
Athelstone vs Portland
Adelaide University vs Eastern Park

PHOS out, Eastern Park in.

How is everybody looking for numbers?
Who has had trials?

Going to take a punt and suggest because of what's happening in higher grades the C grades aren't set yet. Could be changes in the next couple of weeks

Athelstone seem to have lost a lot of players from last year from what i saw Saturday perhaps Coach Hart is losing his touch? i did notice that Mario Piro had a banner held up by his Mum and Dad displaying 200 games i wonder if it was the same bloke that was the B grade leading goal kicker in 2002/2003

i think the family had dreams and visions of him playing A grade lol

top effort to play 200 games for the club in which his old man played 250 odd games as well.

I was told that it was Dave Harris and Mario Piro that made the Raggies succesfull last year! Going through the teams it looks like they both aren't playing C2 this year but they look they are going ok.

they are travelling well without them at the moment although its a long season so I am sure Coach Farty Hawk eye Hart will require them at some stage

how are the other teams travelling out there?

Is it True Dave Harris is still playing? surely this is not the case?

i saw a couple games last year and he could barley move. i can understand him not being very mobile anyone as he will be 51 by now?

ok player at best in his day, but i would of thought he would be done by now.

Any truth in the rumour Wayne "The Weed" Weidemann is pulling the boots on and kicking the dew of the grass this weekend in the Broadview C Grade against Athelstone?
