Josh Ralph from Salisbury North Football Club has been living with depression for over a year now, and to raise awareness for others affected by depression, he has decided to run 7 marathons in 7 days.

Please get behind him and such a great cause by visiting http://www.mycause.com.au/page/65115. Any donations, large or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Just seen on Facebook. He has completed 4 marathons in a row. Will he do all 7? Surely his body is screaming for a rest. Knees, shins. Get around him.

Today was a struggle for him, understandably, and he finished with a time of around 7 hours.

It's up to us to keep his spirits up, as he's doing something most of us haven't got the balls to do.

I hope he's getting plenty of recovery in between runs.

I know he's getting daily physio and massages, but due to the nature of the challenge, I suspect that it's nowhere near enough recovery.

I think he's earned as much recovery as he wants, once tomorrow and Saturday's grand finale are out of the way. 5 marathons in 5 days thus far is a superhuman effort.

To those who are interested, the 7th and final leg will be held at Salisbury North Football club on Saturday (February 22nd) from about 8:30am. The more people who come out and cheer Josh on, the merrier.

There was a decent crowd there, and I'm sure plenty more money was raised through raffles, lucky squares, drink sales and a kickarse barbie.

To top it all, Josh is a great bloke, and none of this attention seems to have gone to his head. He's genuinely doing it for the right reasons.
