CFL - Retirement

The following staff structure will apply to the Community Football Department subsequent to the
retirement transition of Glen Rosser out of the role of Community Football Manager.
As approved by the Community Football Board, the new structure sees greater focus placed on strategic
development, partnerships and streamlined delivery of service to affiliated leagues and clubs.
The major changes are;
Community Football Manager
The Community Football Manager (CFM) will be primarily responsible for the strategic development of
Community Football in SA, with the majority of operational tasks to be assumed by the Community
Football Operations Manager.
The CFM will work collaboratively with the SANFL Corporate Operations Department, to identify income
opportunities through government, corporate and commercial streams. All Community Football staff
members, including Regional Football Managers will report directly to the CFM.

Community Football Operations Manager
Kym Ireland’s current role of Regional Football Manager has been changed to Community Football
Operations Manager (CFOM).
Kym will continue many of his current duties, but will also be mainly responsible for the provision of
administration to all affiliated leagues and clubs.
He will also administer and manage all affiliation and regulation matters and manage the State Country
Program. He will also be responsible for the implementation of all AFL, SANFL and SA Community
Football League (SACFL) administration, football and education programs in Regional SA and the SAAFL.
Community Football Personal Assistant
Jan Day will continue part‐time (0.4) as the Community Football Personal Assistant, and will continue to
perform all tasks as she currently does.
Community Football Consultant
Glen Rosser has been appointed to the part‐time role of Community Football Consultant.
Reporting to the Community Football Manager, Glen will assist in the promotion and delivery of several
SACFL programs, including the SACFL Strategic Plan and the servicing of major partnerships, including the
Motor Accident Commission as naming rights partner of the SACFL.
Glen will also provide assistance to manage facility development and grants in
