I've heard the Ovingham coach from last season is coaching C grade at TOS and talking half the club with him..

I'm catching up with a mate from TOS Monday so I can find that out for certain

Did you find out@wristwatcher?

Scoota has settled in well but only 4 Ovies boys have come across with him. Not quite half a team but that story sounds much better!

That seems unusal considering the distance between the clubs.

1. Martin Hamilton Smith CAN recruit.
2. MHS will give away free bins to lure footballers
3. Several Mitchell Park plays already work for MHS
4. MHS is a prick of a man to work for when you don't play footy for his team. I believe he even made one close friend of a poster cry whilst leaving his phone on speaker.
5. MHS is good at luring groups of 2s,3s and 4s as they are more likely to stick it out.
6. MHS doesn't like to see footballers "Wasteaway" in the lower divisions :)

The above reasons and the fact that PNU will need an extra 30-40 on their registered list I'm not surprised to read this.[/quote

So why would MHS want to see his workers 'waste away' in Div 8 WW when they could play Div6? Oh yes that's right, Saturday is a work day.

I have read your post and even translated it into other languages but I cannot make any sense of it  I asked a mate and he just told me that "Lofty is the Shepard".

Now I'm even more confused

This post is far too long. You couldve easily said what needed to be said with the first half of the first sentence in point 4. ;)

No. He looks like Shannon Noll and Shannon Noll is my 3rd cousin.

Creepy.

At least we agree about his coaching skills though. I probably could've coached your C grade to a flag last year.

I would be pretty surprised if many of the players leaving Mitchell Park to play for PNU would be doing so at a level above where they would be for us. Brett Parker and Brad Moroney the biggest chances to help out the PNU B Grade I would think. Maybe Marten Pine and Kym Logan at a stretch. The rest will be C Graders, unless there is a supply of performance enhancing drugs on tap at PNU.

Good luck to the lads, probably time for a fresh start, hope they enjoy it out there.

Is Bourbon performance enhancing???

I think you are right, with the second biggest junior program in the SAAFL and Maccas love for exposing 16-18 year olds to senior footy I wouldn't have thunked too many of the Mitchell park lads would be in Scott Rodneys Magoos. Having said that if they train and play well they will be asked to step up so time will tell. Im sure the football director will have all the T's dotted and the I's crossed :)

A couple have the talent to play higher, in particular Brett and Brad, commitment and fitness being the issue holding them back somewhat at Mitchell Park. All will be more than handy in the C's, if that's where they play.

I am just happy they're not going to CLG which was the rumour. At least this way they will be welcomed back rather than being tainted for life.

With all due respect as well the step from Div 6 or 7 reserves to Div 2 reserves is huge. Almost every opponent in the div 2 reserves league can play whereas at the 6/7 reserve level you might have a bit more of motely assortment. I wouldn't think too many of the recruited Parks boys would have too many aspirations of playing 2R early in the season anyway

I think a couple would think they could but realistically most would have struggled in you super team in C4 last year. Parker the exception, he was a premiership player in 2012.

Not sure if they would have struggled in that team if they played near me. I gave 2 goal assists a quarter :D
