Comedy gold!

They would play all games at Thebarton, allowing them to set up permanently all the bits and pieces they need and guaranteeing the required space and camera setups.
Tough part comes when you question whether they play for the premiership or not and whether they would need to have a season similar length to the AFL then the surrounding issues of having the opposition take it seriously.
They should think they're better because they are. They're a professional club, paying people to do what most do for free and paying their players bucket loads more than the rest of the comp.

Sanctimonious bullshit.
A side that good hey? How many fit Crows listed players are there right now? Where are the rest of the players required to fill a team going to come from under the Ammo's model?
And, although perhaps a degree of magnitude in difference, don't let the word Amateur fool you.

Good point, there may well only be a handful of Crows listed players available toward the end of a season. And as you mentioned, the reserves of the reserves would also be an issue.
These are most likely moot points though I would think. I doubt this will eventuate.
Ronnie wrote:Can you imagine, early in the season, round 1 or 2 maybe, a Crows team stacked near the hilt with AFL listed players all available.
on a fine warm day a lowly Div 1 side takes on the Crows, with Walker just back from his injury.
The fitness and conditioning differences alone would sees the Ammo side butchered!
The news report would probably state that the Crows ran the game out a little better.....
Let's see Trigg follow through on this ludicrous scenario.

How would that idea be received?
How will their entry into Div 1 work with regards to the current teams that would be relegated to Div 2 or the Div 2 teams being promoted next year?
Will they have to field a reserves side?
Will the be exposed to Promotion/Relegation like every other club?
It would be interesting to hear the perspective of the SAAFL members and audience.
Why do the Crows think they are above anyone else in the SAAFL
