Mozzie we are keen to play triple headers where possible as our two clubs done this last season.

Gatt Weasel we would be keen to look at Friday/Saturday night game at either as we played Mawson Lakes in a late game at home last season as we have had lights upgraded.

Ahh good to see Footy is back & 5 x new teams in with the promotion & relagation system.

Welcome to Seaton, Wingfield & Pooraka who have come down also to both CBCOC & Eastern Park are coming up as looks like we will have a close division this year.

We would like to play triple headers where possible too & the only club that this hasnt happened with in the past is Scotch as the have no access to their oval on Saturday mornings due to school footy being played there.

As the great Chopper Read (well Eric Bana) once said: "you should thank me, you have a head that needs regular panel beating" :supz:

Classy club Wingfield.. Contacted US lookin for a C grade trial, then...

Kept us waiting out on field for 25 minutes while they waited in clubrooms for a couple players, (they had more than enough to at least get started)
Their blokes started sniping and lookin for fights from the start!
Had to stop the game in the middle of 2nd quarter so their coach could try calm them down
#18 was just a knob all day and was the chief instigator
#7 tryed to start on the crowd in the last quarter, wanted to take ALL of us on he reckoned

If this is the standard they set themselves, its no wonder their clubs nearly dead.

Good luck whoever plays them in rd 1, coach reckons he's forfeiting rd 1 if he doesnt get more than 10 blokes to training this week.!

Stay Classy Wingfield

Our combined C/D grade side played them last week. Was a different environment for sure. Plenty of advice from the sideline and a few little incidents but nothing too bad. Their coach and president seemed to have the best intentions but very hard job to change the club. After the game they were fine and very greatful we played them. I think they had about 27 last week including a couple playing with no boots.

Who is coaching them? Big job ahead by the sounds of it.

Fitzroy v Seaton tonight at Swan Court, RENOWN PARK.
This clash will be bigger than the Crows v Bombers- and the beer prices will be cheaper too!

Thanks to Mousey & his Seaton C Grade Boys for the Trial Game last night as good fast paced game played in good spirits for the 2nd year & hopefully keep this as an Annual Pre-Season Hit Out.
Good luck for this Season.

Or C/D grade played them on the weekend after a late cancellation. intersting bunch, and our president ended up calling the game off 10 mins into the last qtr to stop things getting out of hand. They weren’t ‘dirty’ as such they had some blokes to had very short fuses and were fairly intimidating characters that for sure. In the end it spilled over and started getting out of hand including their runner trying to fight a 17 year old. Couple of blokes who were threatening our players from the sidelines for no reason, however their coach was great and tried settle their blokes down when it looked like they were about to go the knuckle.
They had 2 blokes with footy shorts, the rest had basketball shorts, board shorts and one even had rolled up jeans and Dunlop volley’s on….. then yes some had no shoes on at all.
Glad we got through the Wingfield experience, don’t think we will take them up next time they offer to cover a late cancellation.

GOOOOD LUCK
