Its official. Kilburn have had their Premiership points and their score taken away from them for their wins over Mitcham, Seaton and Pooraka for playing these 3 games over the 15 point APPS threshold. And fined $1000.
The other 3 teams get the 2 Premiership points. Kilburn now 0-5.

Well rules are rules.
Could be a huge story tho should Kilburn make the 5 and go well be interesting how the club react to this? How many points were they over? Surly this must of been an oversight? A proud club like Kilburn would'nt let this happen.

I thought i was told last night that no decision had been made yet and would not be made for up to a week. I believe this is what was said at the Delegates meeting last night?

Oh come on, surely you wouldn't be going into a match knowingly that you are over the points.

Yeah, as far as I know they do. They appear on the printout that each team gives to each other aswell. I could only see it as a glitch, but then again, what would I know.

confirmed all points lost and a fine. and i dont think points will be awarded to other clubs.apparently 6-7 other clubs being looked at aswell.
Who would they be? I heard Districts had an audit. Glenunga had 14 points against us so might be under consideration.

Pretty sure they show on the team sheets supplied by each club on game day.
Also pretty sure that the Kilburn players will be dirty on the findings and will fight hard to climb their way back up this year. It's not the players faults unfortunately... They'd just want to play footy...

I can't comment on the Kilburn saga as I am not involved but IMO (just an unbiased opinion) the amateur league must take
some responsibiltiy. How did they allow this to happen for 4 games before errors were found. I can understand maybe 1 or 2 games but 4?? How did the oppostion clubs not pick this up in early rounds? Also I believe the league should make player ratings available online like the GSFL for example which is clear for everyone to see. If Kilburn have broken the rules they must be punsihed in some way but surely this could have been resolved after 1 or 2 rounds
http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page ... sID=199681With the change over to sporting pulse can you still see previous years players / round by round results etc like you could with the old SAAFL site??

So how how this been made official? My understanding from someone 'in the know' was it wouldn't be declared until next week sometime.
