The new teams and drafts are in:
Payneham
CBCOC
Eastern Park
Trinity OS
Wingfield
Brahma Lodge
Saisbury West
Glenunga
Bye (throughout the year)

Thoughts, considerations and how does your higher grades in your clubs effect your teams this year (if any). Will you have a better level of depth due to recruiting in higher grades? Enjoy the year guys.

We will be fairly similar to last year, sure the club has recruited well but also lost quite a few names so all in all probably even. The lads were out of their depth last year, but in saying that a fair chunk are relatively new to footy so natural improvement should help us be more competitive. At the moment, numbers wise we won't /shouldn't have any problems naming 25 each week. Can't wait for the season to start, Wingfield round 1 the boys are pretty excited.

If they have the palyers and resources to get a side on the park this year tehn all the luck to them. Although you would hope they have this all sorted for the entire season now rather than pulling the pin half or part way through the season.

At this early stage of the year, we are looking fairly solid numbers wise. Joint C Grade coaches with a few extra mates should help things in this department as we struggled filling a team a few times last year. It's usually around June/July that this problem occurs. Can't see us setting the world on fire as we have a large number of players with little or no football experience but as long as we can be more competitive than last year and jag more than just 1 win we will fairly satisfied.

Ill put my house on them pulling their team out on the Thursday night before Rd 1 again! And that was after numerous phone calls all that week with their pres sayin theyl be good to go!

And they didnt even contact us, we still had to chase them around at 9pm that thursday night to confirm..

I need to sign a few mates down there and take that bet...could be a very cheap house on offer

Seriously i hope they do get a team up, could be a nice challenge and with the calibre off them normally it can encourage people to run...out of fear perhaps but run they will

Well lets just hope for the division's sake they can get a soide together. We played at their gorund on Saturday and will again this week. Its in great condition a part form the pitch in the middle. I've never been a big fan of playing at ovals with concrete pitches laid with grass patches on top. All in all pretty decent oval to play in.

Looking at clearances, Wingies have 0 in and 3 out. This of course doesn't include players who have cleared out of there in the past year or so. What are they planning to do, just register their players as new players with dodgy names and DOBs?
