Was told yesterday that Flinders Park and Portland are playing a D2 game, on ANZAC Day. Are there any other games? - Better than watching bloody Collingwood and Essendon at least. Any more details on the game I heard about or any others?

is the game over on Hartley Road or at the Thunder HQ - any other games or venues, that might be worth watching?

Nearly 4 days rest, by the time the game starts and you think that the coaches of the clubs would have well and truly put all plans in place, such as rehab and ice baths etc, etc, etc. Not ideal you would not have thought BUT with both sides having played on the Saturday, it would be even with the same break for all. Cant see it being a problem based on even for both, although not ideal. Good for club revenue though for any of the clubs who play. Am sure that Jackson, Pearce, Payne and Rowlands would have all the recovery well and truly planed and have been around long enough.

Bit of a strange comment from a supposed Essendon supporter isn't it? :Hangman: b-(

Your bar and BBQ and canteen would make a decent day of it then down at Thunder HQ then Satchel. A triple header to keep you happy as well, or not?

Well Anzac Eve and I for one am extremely pumped for what should be an awesome day of footy. Both sides are primed and ready. No discussion on last year. That was then this is now and we are 2-0 and flinders not far behind. Match ups will be key to either sides success. The club will hopefully generate good revenue seeing we are the only two sides playing footy in the SAAFL. Be good for anyone that loves the atmosphere and the meaning behind such a day and watch two sides have a decent good old game of footy. The canteen, BBQ and the bar are ready for the masses. Get down to the dome have a bee and help us celebrate the sacrifice and the true commitment given by our vets. Who knows what life could have been like if it was a different outcome. Raise your glasses. Lest we forget.

Best of luck to your boys satchel. I for one have had the experience of playing on a stand alone anzac day match and grand finals aside, was probably my most memorable game of footy. Will surely get a great crowd, and if the last post is played, your almost ready to run through a brick wall come the first bounce.

Portland get up after being 5 goals down at 3/4 time, Flinders called a head count with 3 minutes left which cost them a goal ... 4 point margin hahahahaha

Now that's a novel idea, provided you've got the numbers correct to back it up!  Someone can't count eh?
