Just informing all SAAFL followers that the great man of the Kenilworth F.C. passed away this morning at the young age of 101. He will be missed around the club. He was everybodys Grandfather.

very sad day for the club..the great man had no peers..memories of my days as a junior in the parklands, watching him in his chocolate blazer with his wife always with him to cheer on his beloved "kenilworths"..to the era we just had where he was a permanent fixture on the BBQ, which was regarded as the best in the SAAFL..never to be forgotten..wear the black armbands with pride guys..RIP my old friend

Very sad news. It's fitting that the last 2 Kenilworth games played while he was alive resulted in premierships for the club. I hope that he was there to witness them
R.I.P

Terrible news for all involved at KFC, but 101, cant complain with that innings!
His BBQ's were regarded as the best in the amateur league, and as SD said, 2 flags in his last season, you cant get better than that!
RIP Art

I might have to have a bacon, egg, sausage & hamburger, followed by a beef and chicken shaslick today to pay tribute to one of the great BBQs of the modern era.
