We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

You'd have to be 17 at midnight Dec 31 2011, so anyone born in 1994 or after would be eligible.

Last year they had a rule that you could play some overage players, not 100% what age it was to. But if they did that could not play senior football had to pick one or the other.

You could have 4 players 3 months over age (the theory was they wouldn't be 19 come finals time). Could not be playing senior footy or involved at a league club. It was more to try and reintroduce blokes to footy who may have slipped away or to give guys not quite developed enough some more time.

The Henley Sharks will be fielding a side in 2012...

Our Under 18s have won 3 of the last 6 premierships, and our upcoming Under 16s were premiers in 2011. We also had 2 Under 16 sides last year which means double the quantity of players than normal will be graduating to the Under 18s in 2012.

Players who consistently play well in this grade are also given Division 1 reserve (B-Grade) opportunities throughout the year and inevitably all of our Colts are set on the path to becoming future Division 1 A-Graders at the Club. Therefore this becomes a terrific stepping stone for you or your son in his future senior years as a footballer.

An information meeting and BBQ will be held at the clubrooms from 6.30pm on Friday 10th February.

Training will officially start on Friday 17th Feb from 6 pm.

Parents, relatives and friends are also invited to fill off field roles for the team and we would be delighted and stronger to have as many on-board as possible...
# Team Manager
# Runner, Trainer, Time Keeper, goal umpires etc.

Get on board for what will be a terrific year.

Would have thought North Haven would play against Portland and Port District?
Would also be good to see Henley placed in that middle, more western suburb league...

Spoke with a couple of SHOC hierarchy and they definitely have the numbers, only problem is it maybe at the detriment to a couple of clubs who have nominated, hopefully not and everyone gets a side

Unfortunately history shows that at least 4 of those nominated won't start and another 2 or 3 will fall over during the year

Once again hopefully not
