I'm sure this is not a secret as ALFC circulated an email today - Andrew Zobel has stood down as coach at Adel Lutheran after 2 years in charge.
He's a fantastic bloke, had some great wins, but team's consistency let him down.
I hope he will stay involved at AL in some capacity.
As a past player, I really enjoyed Zobes enthusiasm and knowledge - and a top bloke to boot!
Also, sounds like Golden Grove after a new coach for 2012.
Let the silly season begin....

Yeah I saw the email today, I must admit was very surprised with Zobes stepping down, Luthies were the biggest threat outside the 5 this year...

Word on the street is most gaza players have already re-signed anyway! I believe that In essence a club like gaza talking to and re-signing players before years end like this is the same as a coach of a player's previous club making contact. Every person will have a different view though

Naming a full side on a Thursday night and having 5 players rock up at Plympton, 8 at Hope Valley all with no phone calls or the like. When I spoke to him at HV he seemed to be at the point of no return
