CFL Badging coming into the SAAFL

I have heard from a good source that the CFL badging of playing apparel will become compulsory in the SAAFL from 2013.
Can I suggest that clubs purchasing new jumpers & shorts for season 2011 should seriously consider having the logo included on them if you expect to keep your jumpers for longer than 2 seasons.

Nothing official from the SAAFL as yet, as I stated "I have heard from a good source" and to answer Blue Boy, the CFB recommends that ALL new jumpers/shorts are made with the logo on them to overcome the situation where clubs may keep jumpers for 3 or more years as it is compulsory to have it on all playing apparel from the start of 2012 in the country leagues and will be for SAAFL from 2013. If you are wearing jumpers/shorts e.g. in the country leagues made in 2011 & SAAFL in 2012 but they are not CFL badged, you will be classified as "non compliant" according to the CFL Rules & Regulations.
That is my understanding of the way it works.

Just another way for the CFB to get kickbacks, by forcing all clubs into buying new playing apparel. How are they going to fund themselves in 2 years time once they have forced all clubs to spend money they otherwise might not have needed to. I assume the CFB have registered their label by now.

MC, it will not necessarily force clubs to purchase new jumpers. With new technology that enables digital transfers to be applied to fabrics, if your club has jumpers that are still in good nick, the CFL badge can be applied to them until such time as you replace the jumpers with new ones.
There is a cost involved to get it done, but it will save clubs having to buy new jumpers at the outset. We are able to help you or any club out with this if required.

I understand that, but what I don't understand is the need for the label. I mean if every league is affiliated what does it matter?
That aside, I would be much happier if the CFB just come out and said all new playing apparel purchased from now on to have the label on it. Scrap the 2012 ruling, cause what are the penalties going to be if someone in the team doesn't have the label on a pair of socks. Surely they aren't going to be taking away points as a penalty.

Can you give a rough idea of the cost per guernsey please?

I'm sure when the umpires fill out thier reports and ponder the question "Players correctly attired?" they wont be worrying about tiny CFB logos on a pair of socks.

Would be a bit hypocritical if they did considering the umpires ignore the shorts colours full stop.

isnt there suppose to be a $50 fine for players that dont wear skin coloured skins as well? never seen one player get fined for that so im sure a little logo will make no difference to the umps.

Around the $4.00 mark applied.

When Locky mentioned this a whole thread on the new junior structure was wiped out. JS is a sponsor of this site, no?
Any of the hall monitors explain this weird occurrence?

SY, I think you may be looking too deeply into this going by your comments. JS Sports gets no favours and it was only being pointed out for information as it was told to us.
Not sure why you would pose the question, what has sponsorship of the site got to do with this subject?

putting the cfl logo on to some jumpers will push the cost of new jumpers up, instead of a 2 colour print, some clubs will be charged for a 4 colour print.

The thread was never wiped out and is still on page 2 of this forum.
If you need any other explanations PM me any time.

Sorry to disagree with you kookas but adding the CFL logo should NOT increase the cost. The price of sublimated jumpers covers & should include ALL LOGOS in the price. If your supplier wants to charge you for the artwork or additional logos, maybe you should consider swapping suppliers and find one who won't charge you to do it. May I suggest contacting JS Sports where all logos, numbers etc. are included in the price and No ARTWORK FEES apply in footy playing apparel.

You are one of a few preferred suppliers for the logo, no?
We at junior level are a tad worried that we no longer shall have a lot of choice as to where we purchase our apparel.
Just wondering why the day after Lockys post disappeared on the same subject you fellas were spruiking your ability to get the logos attached.
Has NEMJFA signed off on all this? not according to an email I've seen.
