Sorry mate i havent come to terms with the new sides and what they have done yet. I cant comment on what i havent seen and so on. Im sure we will get to see it next season, but those who jump first?

Anyway should be a cracker of a year. What do you blokes do to stay together during the off and rally for pre season?

depends on how many of last year's flinders' side decide to play up or how many the grovers get in.
certainly on last year's grove c4 side and park's c2 side, flinders would win by 6-10 goals having seen both teams play against the blacks

Can you give any extra detail mate like their style of play etc? Have not seen either side play.

have heard the old smosh C grade coach is back in the C grade spot and is bringing his 2007 premiership side back. this could be a very good comp.

Golden Grove C grade is full of absolute guns's. A mix of experience and youth with a running game comparable to Essendon circa 2000. Start engraving the C3 premiershp cup with GGFC!!

Mitcham might be in a bit of strife with the loss of a gun player to Swan Hill!

Yeah but frum what i saw this year and last they have a well evened side. I dont know anything other than from what ive seen on the park at any given time. No gossip crap here. Right through Mitcham's grades they have always been strong. I wouldn't right them off just yet if at all.

This year at Golden Grove we had a couple of triple headers with Woodville South and Westminister. Can't see any reason why we wouldn't continue to do them next season.

We'll be looking for as many as we can have Marbles. Have even floated the idea of some Friday night C3 games under our new lights. Have also thought about triple headers starting at 12:15 and the A Grade be a twighlight/night game, or start at 12:15 and go Bs, As, then Cs. Of course, we would reciprocate if our opponents had lights, or at the very least be prepared to play triple headers.

Do you reckon any clubs would be interested in any of those options?

we found (uni) that the league and clubs were pretty flexible with this and that triple headers need not necessarily be organised prior to the start of the season - of course, its better if done so or the subject broached but timings could be held in abeyance until closer to the dates.

Portland prefers triple headers I believe.
Relieves the stress put on all the helpers around the club having all games at one oval. Also provides a better atmosphere for all teams as the A's abd B's can get there earlier to watch the C's and then the C's can hang around and have a few beers watching the A's and B's!
