OUR league

Clubs seem very unhappy with how things are going with our league. But all i seem to hear is people beating their chest making noise but no action.
Can we the clubs combine together and create a sub committee (union) that would be attached to the current powers. Obviously we already do but as a group of 50+ people it can be really hard to express views and it can be daunting to speak up at a delegates meeting.
Each div could have a rep that they could express concerns to, do any voting on decisions, a person to represent a larger group of clubs.
Excuse my ignorance and lack of experience being involved in footy clubs and this league in a off-field basis. I just think it could save time money and give the clubs more power. Have a meeting where all clubs from each div meet then the rep liaises with league.
This is a very raw idea and mayb ridiculous, but could it work??????

Any truth to the rumour that a "senior" executive member has resigned recently...is that 3 or 4 for the year....is this saying anything about the state of our game?

Glad you only just said last week as that limits it to one. Think you will find it was a few weeks ago though. Look for a few more of these "hissy fits" to come at the Barton, but not necessarily by the Executive!!!!

Could be an interesting month or three ahead

They do work very hard during the year though and deserve the time off. 5 or 6 weeks for a hard job to do is not much

Exactly, it's the same amount of holidays that any other person is entitled to, they just take it all in one hit.
