Finals "Footy Budget" Sales

The Inclusive Department here at the SANFL has been busy over the last week or so, in talks with others from Game Development and Luke from the "Footy Budget"... Thanks to the AMAZING people at the "Footy Budget" we have now ensured a stronger future for Female Football.

For every week left of the Amateur League Finals, the South Australian Women's Football League will be selling the "Footy Budget's"

This is to raise much needed funds for our current U18 Youth Girls State Team travelling to Melbourne in less than a month. All money raised through selling the "Footy Budget" at the finals will help the South Australian Women's Football League to develop the game so that a 'Minority Sport' has the opportunity to prosper and move forward.

To all the people out there who are at the games please support us and buy a Budget! We will also have cans to rattle so you can hopefully make a donation.

Please dig deep as we would like to take the Girls away in September and grow the sport that we all know and love

Thanks so much fo all the people out there who I know will support us during the Finals. Keep and eye out for our State Jumpers, or for anyone selling budgets around the ground...

... Come and find us for a chat, and please dig deep to help this great sport
:-bd

Great work KLAG and the SAWFL people

Greenies found the footy budget was a great way to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation last year during the finals series.

Not only is it a great read but you will meet some of the best people as you sell them around the grounds. :-bd

Greenies have a rep going to that game and as the reigning SAWFL premier we wish you the best of luck. :D

Fantastic gesture from Luke Hosie from the Footy Budget with a $50 donation, cheers Luke., The girls will love you.

He's hoping that all footy supporters really get behind this fundraising to assist the girls in their venture to represent SA, give them some extra when you purchase your budgets and show just how SAAFL clubs do support a worthy cause.

The girls might want to mention this, "We forgiveth your sins if you fill up our tins" and no touching their "cans" either!!

:-o ... O.... M.... G!!!!

You are all AMAZING!!! :D

I don't know why we didn't think of coming to guys earlier, haha. Luke and the team at the budget have been a god send to Women's League... and with the help of all of the people out at club level i can't wait to see participation in our sport grow immensely.

Myself and the Inclusive Programs Manager, Peter Cates, will be at the medal count tonight. We would love to meet as many people out at club level as possible to say thanks, and discuss any ideas you may have. If any clubs out there are interested in having a youth girls team, or a Women's team in the future, tonight is the perfect oppurtunity to express your interest :-)

Also, if anyone is interested in helping to sell budgets at their ground this week that would be awesome. We will have as many girls as possible out there, but the more help the better :-bd

(Aceman, you're too funny  )

Hey KLag

Sorry cant be there tonight. :(

Good luck on the weekend selling the (one and only IMO) budget, you need to talk to the Greenies girls as they are helping on the gates and around the ground at our blockbuster against Unley at Hicks Park so they can get all the good people to but a budget on the way into the game. :D

Bit of a dark horse for D4 b&f Shannon Goldsmith. 8)

Thanks Turk186 :D should be interesting to see how it goes...

... On that note, GET EXCITED PEOPLE, we're now past 'hump day' which means one day closer to the finals and buying budgets!!! \:D/

The SAWFL awards night is tonight so we will make sure all ladies are aware of what is happening.

Greenacres will indeed have the majority of their team assisting, as well as their state representative, Teena Leicester. So be sure to say hi for me Turk186 :D

I will be down at Pooraka with my pink football so anyone heading down that way come and say hi and a kick of the pretty footy with me and Choccies 8)

So far we also have representatives heading out to;
Salisbury North
Sacred Heart
Portland
Thebarton
Greenacres
Pooraka
Elizabeth
West Croydon

If there is anyone out there who would like to help at these grounds, or help us out at another ground that we havent covered... well that would be AMAZING and i would be forever grateful :-)

Please PM me if you're interested in helping us out in any way on Saturday. I'll be your best friend :-bd haha

hahahaha, oooo Choccies... controversy

As far as I know the plan is that he will kick with you after Salisbury beats his team :-P … then head down to Pooraka to watch the A’s and kick the amazing pink footy.

You’re more than welcome to skip your A Grade game and come down for a kick too 8) hehe

Right..... Let's get this sorted here.

Choccies will quickly down a celebratory beer at Hicks Park after the GG B's beat Salisbury, then race off to Pooraka to kick the pink footy with the OP-hindered Klaggy whilst watching the 'burra A's hopefully sneak over the line against the Bulls.

Sounds much better :)

So far we are hoping to have people at every ground :D

At this stage the only two grounds we haven't got people at is Central United and Glenunga... but i will find a way to get budgets out to those grounds.

The plan is that hopefully no matter where you go you will have budgets available :d

Good luck tomorrow KLAG. The Budget is on-line now so hopefully you have all the grounds catered for. Make a heap of money KLAG
