We had our first meeting regarding our footy trip last night and it's got me excited. We're heading to Darwin for three nights in October, staying at Melaleuca's Backpackers on Mitchell St. Has anyone been there, or has anyone just been to Darwin and can give us some good places to drink? Thinking of going to watch an NTFL game at TIO Stadium as well?

Melbourne is always thrown up there, maybe country for the thunder this season??

Plenty of places to drink along Mitchell st. Havnt been there for a few years but pretty sure there is an irish pub, a night club similar to HQ, few other bars and a real dodgy cowboy bar up the end called Blue Heelers or something like that. Even the casino for a cheap feed and drinks

I think we are heading to Gladstone to stay in the jail like last year over the long weekend

smosh are hitting up the Gold Coast for 3 nights. AFL prelim final weekend
