If Flinders Park dont win the C2 flag again then there is more match fixing happening in this grade then the Indian Premier League. They are a class and a half (probably more) then any other team.

Considering Flinders Park's dominance over the last few years surely they'd be looking to make the jump into D7 like Modbury and Tea Tree Gully have done with moderate success this year? Surely at least a few of them are looking for a challenge!

I believe Flinders applied for Div 7 this year, and got knocked back. But given the success of the C grade, and strength of the D grade last year, and to a degree this year, Div 7 would be a welcome challenge i would think. The C grade would be very happy for some competition. Thats by no mean having a shot at the rest of the comp, but more the strength of Flinders..

Blame on the stupid rule in the SAAFL where your C grade has to play against all the other C sides in which your A grade plays. All very lopsided no promotion or relegation. Flinders Park could win the next 10 C2 flags if thier A's don't get promoted or relegated in the next 10 years or your A grade could win multiple flags and be promoted every year and your c grade then gets promoted and finds them selves out of their depth. Bloody stupid rule.

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Right on there torpedo. We would love to play in D7 and yes we would love a challenge as a club. I think it's a matter of wait your turn for D7 as Modbury did and as soon as there is a vacancy we will be up there. It's the best thing for our club as the jump between grades wouldn't be so big.

it's getting tight at the top with
eastern park only losing to flinders park for 7 :1 record & 61 %
flinders park losing to rocs and uni for a 6 : 2 record & 77%
uni losing to eastern park and spoc for a 6 : 2 record & 63%
and rostrevor losing to eastern park and uni for 6 : 2 record & 57%

the blacks play rostrevor and eastern park in the next two games - that should sort some stuff out.

Yeah looks like a good run home to the finals Finn.
Watch out for the Uni stack as they work out which sides are finals chances. Happens every year and make sure they don't start dropping blokes 4 grades like they did to us last year

all sides are in with a show at the blacks.

div 2- top
2 res - top
7 - top
7 res - 2nd
c2 - third
c4 - 2nd
c5 - 5th

I'd say stacking is not a problem.
Certainly all who played on saturday against flinders park have played all or the overwhelming majority of their games in c2 this year.

Nah they did it to our D grade (c6) last year matey. They dropped a heap from much higher grades late last year to try to make the finals. A couple of players dropped 4 grades!!!! I caught them out and they weren't too happy about it either. Amatuer league just gave them a slap on the wrist.

the wingfield umpire has to be the worst ive ever seen!!
threatening to report a player for looking at him!!
that plus giving a free kick for someone telling him to blow his whistle when someone takes a mark and 20 seconds later (no not exadgerating at all) calling it touched play on!
