Amateur league football clubs and homes of their members have been raided by police searching for cans of West End beer stolen from Scott's Transport. The thefts of a pallet (90 cartons) a week may have been occuring over the past 2 years. The retail value has been estimated at $280,000.

Does anyone know anything more on this?

Must have some sort of lead to narrow it down like that !!!

Surely it would have to be someone who has a link with the company at the moment and who's involved with amateur footy, maybe it's an employee who got busted?

What club would go through 90 cartons per week? I take my hat off to them.
