Just wondering who everyone has lined up for trial matches over the next few weeks, or if any clubs are looking for teams to play.

I believe we just stitched up a game with SMOSH on March 18, venue TBA, and were also trying to get a game with Norwood U19's at some stage too, but if this falls through would be interested to hear from any club looking for a hit out over the next month or so, provided we can all find an oval to play on!

It sucks having an A grade turf club using OUR oval during the summer!

Kilburn vs Salisbury @ Blair Athol Reserve, March 11 (Night)
Rosewater vs Salisbury @ Eric Sutton Reserve, March 18

And I feel your pain FC, we've got a district club that uses ours, and usually for a while into March because they're pretty successful.

Dunss7,I think you will find that there are a few trials going on in higher grades this weekend, be it Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Also keep up all the positive feedback you have contributed lately. Cheers

Went down and had a look at the Kilburn v South Gawler trial tonight at Kilburn. Kilburn looked good, won the A Grade 3 quarters by about 6 or 7 goal. result would've been about the opposite for the B grade.

Something Thomas, can't remember his first name, knocked up getting it and would've been best by a country mile. Number 44 if anyone knows who I'm on about. Had a few younger blokes that looked good too.

That would be Daniel Thomas. Is he still overweight? I heard he was out at Westies

He was solid, bulky. Depends on what your definition of overweight is but it didn't seem to hinder him at all.

Yeah next Saturday should go alright, heard it's going to be about 35-36 so I think we're playing the As, Bs and Cs through the 6 quarters to make sure everyone gets through pretty well.

Yeah mate he's going pretty well, had a training camp all day yesterday and this morning which had a bit of work in it, but yeah, looking in a much fitter position than what we were last year, which is good.

Hows things going down there with you blokes?

numbers have been up and down a bit. weve picked up 4-5 handy players and also have about 4 lads coming back to the club.like most clubs, injuries will probably play a major role as we were decimated last year. hopefully all those blokes hold up this year. we've added some height and some bigger bodies. time will tell! SOMEONE SHOULD BAN FOOTBALLERS FROM PLAYING CRICKET!

Mmmm, I predict a nil all draw in the match of the local titans, Kenilworth V Unley. Do you think they will admission fees for this blockbuster?
