Smosh got asked on saturday if they would like a triple header this week they said yes The first game to Start at 11, then 1 then 3. Walkerville in the C grade have said no so the game is at Hopevalley who is in there zone, why cant the game be played at an oval closer to richmond oval. It is not very fair by the saafl.

Was at Heccies for Junior finals yesterday, pristine condition!

Campbelltown Pag? Down the road from me, so it will probably be there I go, if anywhere!

I'd like to know how the hell Hope Valley got a gig, not the best facilities for a final...

and i agree Falcon Chick, how can they play a grand final at hope valley and not play one at payneham. hope valley's ground is crap, you can make good sand castles there than play football.

there should be some belters in that lot.

then in the other grades as its also important to those playing
c1 - adelaide uni v goodwood - at edwardstown - go the blacks
c2 - shoc v modbury - at st marys
c3 - smosh v walkerville - at hope valley
c4 - mitcham v ingle farm - at hope valley
c5 - flinders v hectorville - at edwardstown
c6 - shoc v ovingham - at st marys

good effort by goodwoood to have all three sides in last weeks of finals (div 1 & 1 res) in prelims and c garde (c1) in GF. As well good effort by shoc to have b's, c's & d's in respective GFs.

That's a bit selfish on Walkerville's part, why would they deny their own players a chance to play on a league oval, just so the game is a bit closer to home?

Surely the SAAFL can just program the game at Richmond so Walkies have no choice? In the end it is the league's decision.

if it was 10 i could understand but a 11 am start is not bad at all, and on sanfl ground not dodgy hopevalley. surely saafl would do some thing its a disgraceful decision.

With SMOSH, at the semi final stage, Athelstone were keen for a triple header at Torrens Valley, but SMOSH knocked it back, and the 3rd game was programmed on the Sunday, at Torrens Valley. Athelstone had to pay an extra $500 in the process and only had a single game on the Sunday. Meant an extra days work for all our volunteers. Not ideal. Not exactly the same scenario as the GF one, but in the ball park. Me thinks a little bit of 'what goes around comes around'.

Having said that, I can understand SMOSH being a bit dirty with the league, it should have been a triple header.

heccies havent a fence anymore so saafl cant charge admiss. bit surprized on payneham tho

I wanted to triple header on the saturday but afetr talking to the c grade coach, he explained it with all the factors and it was perfectly fair enough. Plus a lot fo guys had already changed work shifts etc. - Theres a few guys who play c grade cos they work saturday mornings etc.

Disgraceful from the league if not played ina triple header. I'm genuinely sad Athelstones c grade din't get up now

If I've done this right you should see Hope Valley Oval. Poor decision Walkerville.
