I'm not like most and beat around the Bush our aim is to win the flag.

I'm a believer in aiming to win it from the word go. Why say make the 5 then reassess? So you finish 4th knocked out first final go back to your club and party like its 1999 I dont think so.

At the start of the season every club should aim to win the flag IMO

What's the point of setting your target to make up the numbers. You don't spend 9+ months and 100's of hours training your ass off, and not aim to achieve anything. Our aim, is also to win the flag. Whether our best will be good enough to take that opportunity away from everyone else remains to be seen. But as a club, we have had enough of getting close (4th, 3rd, 3rd). There will be losses along the way, and the ultimate goal may not eventuate come seasons end but we are doing everything possible on and off the track to give us the best chance possible, as I'm sure everyone else is.

Shaun Holland to win the medal as well, i am thinking at this stage. Should be a shoe in winning the most brilliant player in the competition.

Holland is that good though - he will only need 8 or 9 games to win the medal. Thats 24 or 27 votes for the great man and he would bolt in with the medal.

we are celebrating our 50th year of football this season and already we have had calls to put holland in our team of the century.. must be good..

i think people are still under rating BOS. are any of there outs confirmed? nothing in the clearances?

I spoke with a few from BOS on sunday and they confirmed to me the outs apparntly a lot to do with there coach.

well that's new, players deciding to move on and using the coach as the reason
since you know the outs why don't you put them up here and we can all consider them and the impact it will have.
however there's only one outward clearance at this stage. yes spry will play elsewhere as i've seen stated in other BOS forums. great service to our club over 6 years so good luck to him. other than that i think you'll still see the vast majority of 2011 players still around at BOS with a number of new players as well.
i reckon they'll be ok in 2012 after a gallant 2011 performance. any club that's been through relegation and cahnged coach will vouch for the fact that the next year is never easy. but dean and the lads did themselves proud.

Heard Hillman and Spry were out. But that was it at this stage. Not sure of the reasons why but if the it was because of the coach then there is not alot you can do about that.
Not sure what the issues are with the coach down there as I dont know him. But I believe they finished 3rd last year which is not a bad effort if you dont like the coach. I think there might be a few others listed in the transfers but I cant remember.
