It appears that Henley must have found a massive oil well down there somewhere. My info is that at least 12 ex league footballers have signed on this year.
Before you get on here bleating like Goodies that "they're playing because they love the club, the jumper, the coach and every blade of grass on the oval" I won't believe you!
Having another crack at 'buying one' eh?
Ive always wondered CC where the hell this club gets its $$$ from.
I'm not yet sure whether to jump onboard with the bandwagon of supporters & talk premierships this early in the year knowing the same happened last year & Henley dropped out in straight sets at the most important time of the year--FINALS!
A very embarrassing way to go out after dominating season 08 & listening to their own COCKY supporters blowing their trumpets on how good this side is. Well nothing will change to be honest, if they couldn't win a final spending $50-60K then it looks like they'll be losing another $70-80K in 09.
Keep signing up those old injury prone players from the SANFL (Eagles) Henley & watch your youngsters dissappear from the club in no time & venture to greener pastures.

Was a good win by the boys, wouldve been by more if we could kick straight. Admittedly they had a lot out and it was probably closer to their B grade side by all reports but its a fantastic confidence boost for the boys!
