TTG smashed ROCS today. I think it was about a 77 point win for the gullies. ROCS only kicked 2 goals for the entire game and they were both kicked in the last quarter. Very good signs for TTG. All the new recruits looked very good and still some other guys to come back into the team yet.

It appears that Henley must have found a massive oil well down there somewhere. My info is that at least 12 ex league footballers have signed on this year.

Before you get on here bleating like Goodies that "they're playing because they love the club, the jumper, the coach and every blade of grass on the oval" I won't believe you!

Having another crack at 'buying one' eh?

Ive always wondered CC where the hell this club gets its $$$ from.
I'm not yet sure whether to jump onboard with the bandwagon of supporters & talk premierships this early in the year knowing the same happened last year & Henley dropped out in straight sets at the most important time of the year--FINALS!
A very embarrassing way to go out after dominating season 08 & listening to their own COCKY supporters blowing their trumpets on how good this side is. Well nothing will change to be honest, if they couldn't win a final spending $50-60K then it looks like they'll be losing another $70-80K in 09.
Keep signing up those old injury prone players from the SANFL (Eagles) Henley & watch your youngsters dissappear from the club in no time & venture to greener pastures.

i love it how you blokes jump straight into it an assume that these blokes are all on good coin. if you look closer and get the real mail all these blokes except colville have played junior footy at the club and have plenty of mates playing out there! i'm sure if there was cash floating around it wouldn't take a lot to entice these blokes to come back and play with their mates!!

Mercy, if you have a good look at the age of these blokes you'll find they're all young and there are still younger players coming through!! i think the average age of their squad is about 23-24...not bad for "old injury prone players" keeping the young ones out hey!?!?

Bit of grey appearing on the old noggin I noticed and now admitting having a bit of trouble getting it up, nothing to be ashamed of at your age Lads, just give the old viagra a go and you will soon be "up to it" again :-bd

Haven't seen mention of it but apparentley SHOCs beat Goodie Saints in their trial on Saturday. I know Goodies haven't been the best at trials over the last couple of years but SHOCs would still take something from it.

Was a good win by the boys, wouldve been by more if we could kick straight. Admittedly they had a lot out and it was probably closer to their B grade side by all reports but its a fantastic confidence boost for the boys!

who was 39 in the Bs for SHOCS? surely they must get this lad into the As, dominated all day, quick, good skills, hard at it, many would say the TOTAL PACKAGE
