Thainy's been gone a good while now, not sure his lack of influence could still be factored in to it.

yes i no but i think it has takin this long for his loss to be a factor in broadies slide.
Yeah, maybe. I meant that he's long gone now and and they'll have to find another way forward so I suppose you're on the money with regard to what influence he had when he was around.

I will when you post something worth reading.
At the very least Big Shrek offer something as to why anything you have to say with regard to the Div 1 comp and the credibility of it's participants would hold any merit otherwise stay conservative and boring rather than offer your ridiculous and ill informed rhetoric.

I said Pete Smith was a gun and that Gepps had two massive ruckmen because I watched them play. The two players I criticised didn't have a good game as I saw it.

How is it ridiculous to say that a team getting beaten by over 10 goals every week suck?

funny that gepps fullback in the best players, once again you know more than their coaching panel, you should put your hand up for a div 1 job, or be too embarrassed when everyone asks who the hell are you?

Congratulations to Seaton Ramblers who put on a well organized, great Anzac Day match. In my opinion it should have been Seaton and Port Districts playing at Seaton, its only fitting after last years successful clash at Largs Reserve between the two. What will be interesting is who gets it next year?

Broadies are in trouble at the moment, a lot missing due injuries at the moment but the b grade stocks are down and as we all have heard, players have been leaving the club in droves over the past 3 - 4 years. That will kill a club always, i saw the game on Fiday and at this stage if Broadies do not get relegated they deserve all the credit they can get. They were playing 5 kids in the A grade that were under 19. As for the B and C grade well, the B's are in trouble and have been for a while, the C's however are made up of a full deaf community team, so can't bag them or the club for trying. Still won't write them off yet, but it doesn't look promising.

Full credit for the day that Broadies put on on Friday. Their ANZAC Day ceremony prior to the A Grade went very well, with all players really getting into the day. I know all of the boys from TTG thoroughly enjoyed playing on such an occassion. Broadview are a very professional club. It was just a pity that the performances on the park didn't reflect the effort put in by the off-field team.

Every team has their ups and downs, and Broadies will come back bigger and better in future. It is a brave person that sits there and bags them this year. I am sure that they will a force again in the not-too-distant future.

Appreciate the comments, a lot of preperation went into the day from the club, very proud of how it turned out.. I thought it was a great sight to see the teams lined up, both A's and B's. Played in good spirit too.

Being out there with both teams lining up was a great thing. Made an awesome sight I reckon.

Are broadies having a reunion for their 1998 flag this year might be a good way to get the club back on track

That was on Friday, had 15 turn out. Huge day for those boys, pity the players couldn't turn it on for them, but they spoke to the players after the game and were really great, sympathetic to the cause but gave em a real rev up, especailly to the young blokes.

went out to the match, saw him there even asked me which player was horndhart thnk he will get a bit of air time,

watch the 1st half of the match then left due to a 10 goal lead, looks lke broadies rely on cook and horndhart alot, cant see them winning many games but words from a player are they confident of escapng relugation...

Yes C.C. A cowardly act some 50 metres off the ball. Not one of the six umpires noticed!
Here is the opportunity for the league to send a message, give the COWARDLY THUG 12, so no other club needs to fear for the welfare of thier players
