Thought Pooraka were pretty competitive on Sat, did think that they weren't overly tall but ran hard. Young side from memory.

How did any of the new recuits go? You seemed to have a lot more sitting on the bench than Adelaide Luthern did!

Spot on, BL kicked the first goal of the game and then it was all one way as EP piled on the goals. BL had a much more respectable second half to only go down by 12 goals in the end. I would imagine EP took the foot off the pedal a little and tried some players in different positions etc. as you do in trial games. But overall i think both sides got some positives out of it.

EP are a very young side that are very fit and quite solid for their age. I think i was told their full back is 30 and then their is a couple of 26-27 years olds and the rest are 25 and younger.

What stood out to me was they were all prepared to run and support each other everywhere across the ground, both with and without the footy. As soon as BL had the footy there was bugger all time to decide what to do with it as there would be 2-3 players shutting you down straight away, EP's pressure on the ball carrier was great. The when they had the footy their spread and run was exceptional because they actually wanted to footy. A great bunch of kids that have alot of confidence amongst them, wish them all the best in Div 3 this year.

Now on to another Div 3 side in Salisbury next Saturday, looking fwd to that hit out.

Eastern Park a very, very good young team orientated unit. I can see something special happening there this year. And IMO a couple of those young guys could play at higher levels & hope that they pursue that avenue. Number 10 was a gun with so much ability. & the little 17 year old carved me up on a wing. Reminding me of me when I was 17 haha.

Rubbish! The only time you carve up a wing is with a knife and a chicken! Back to fantasy land and do your dream team!

GG very good. Moved ball very well. They are young, strong, fast, hard. Big ruckman, 1 grab forwards and apparently the 2 powerhouse forwards did't play us yesterday. They have all bases well covered. Good luck to Div 5 sides who have gone up this year. will be a learning curve

went and had a look at this game, GG are quite a big side, a lot of blokes around that 6'2 mark that can play as a big or small. was very impressed with a bloke for GG, from memory was number 5 was BOG by a mile, will be a very good side if they can get all there forwards on the park and fireing togething
