Match of the round will be Flinders Pk, who don't think they will have a Reserves team  and Flinders Uni who have lost players and havn"t recruited anyone. Do not believe what you hear. Good luck to both teams and their supporters.

Anyone prepared to go out on a limb and predict some results.

North Pines v Angle Vale
Flinders Pk v Flinders Uni
Henley v TTG
Mitchell Pk v Smithfield
Mobbury v Shoc

A pts margin would be good.

Before someone pops up and says 'well that settles it, MFC for premiers, rah rah rah smartarse comment, rah rah rah' i am not stating they will be premiers but they will be leaps and bounds above the side they were last year. Competition for spots in the Div 2 & Div 2r sides is huge at the moment and this only filters down to our Div 7 side. To say its been tough for our lads that have played Div 7 the last two years is an understatement, hopefully there hard work through tough times will pay off.

Totally agree with the feeling around the club but that needs to carry on out on the field. Hopefully, the C grade in particular, can capture some of the camaraderie and spirit of the 07-09 seasons and the 10-11 seasons are but blips on the radar of an otherwise strong and successful club!!!!!!

It was looking like weren't going to make it. Some last minute phone calls and mates of mates got us over the line. We weren't sending out false info at all. All set now and looking froward to the year ahead. Good luck to all the teams gonna be a tough year. :D

Seems that way if you look at the clearances. No big loss & a waste of money by Cobdogla if u ask me!

Good day for Parks today. Both grades winning by 30 odd goals.

Special mention to the B grade lads, as their very good coach said, they have been on the end of many a flogging so to be in such a strong position is really great to see.

Smithfield lads need some training and fitness, but I dont think the score reflected the effort. They put in all day, especially their backs.

It was a good day for the Modbury C Grade under our new coach. By all accounts it was a different SHOC's side that took the park and a very different Modbury outfit. A different start to the season, different coach and different players. I think a better assessment of the competition as a whole will be better made after round 4. Hoping that it is very competitive across the entire division and not just between 4 or 5 teams!
