Yes i know you will say you can have 600 players but they all need to know how to play, which of, all 3 teams made the finals last season?

Surely that depth is better than a club who sometimes struggled to put 2 teams on the park?

Sorry pies i was talking more along the lines of quality as opposed to numbers.

Yes i guess you are right. Numbers mean bugger all. Shall be a good season and i look forward to reading all the results.
What u win last season? 9 in the A grade and 8 in the B grade?
Whats the goal for this season.

I'm not like most and beat around the Bush our aim is to win the flag.

I'm a believer in aiming to win it from the word go. Why say make the 5 then reassess? So you finish 4th knocked out first final go back to your club and party like its 1999 I dont think so.

At the start of the season every club should aim to win the flag IMO

Shaun Holland to win the medal as well, i am thinking at this stage. Should be a shoe in winning the most brilliant player in the competition.

Holland is that good though - he will only need 8 or 9 games to win the medal. Thats 24 or 27 votes for the great man and he would bolt in with the medal.

No urine taking when speaking of a champion. You just don't wind up greats of the game.

Probably as good a footballer and cricketer to have not played AFL or Sheffield Shield cricket is Shaun "Dutchy" Holland. Champion sportsman in both sports and a legend at whatever he does. Even better when he gets to the pub at the Slug and Lettuce and a true legend there.

By far the biggest name on this list is Shaun Holland to CU :)

Sam Marshall to CLG is a good get, quality player tore us up a couple times last year (including the GF). No doubt would have been playing higher at SHOC this year if he stayed there.

he was happy playing with his mates and getting over his knee reconstruction, he could have played at a higher level.

He actually played the first 13 games in Div 1 res but then had a falling out with the coach which forced him to play the last 5 games in Div 7 plus the finals. He should not have even been their but got 'burnt' by Sturt (as they do often). He got sick of the politics of the SANFL and the clickiness of old scholar footy clubs and just wants to enjoy his footy. Hence he couldnt be at a better club.
