I played B grade, so I had the sun.. The A grade playing time was the perfect drinking time, So i was fine with it staying at the later times.

The Wells boys may be car lagged when they rock up due to the clipsal, talk about having to take the longer route.

Yep, Buss is ex-Fitzroy. #14 is Roberts who was their leading goal-kicker last year.

Looks like Rexy will be tagging no. 3 and you will be standing no. 14 then Quichey!

Good luck with that...

Not sure of the idea of starting a game at 4.45pm because it was pretty dark when I left, hope the light's where good. I no it is only a trial but I would be very susprised if Glenunga don't play finals in div 6 this year with there new players.

B Grade won by 96 points

A grade lost by 30 or so points.

It was a good game. The B game was delayed because Brahma Lodge left their guernseys at Brahma Lodge.

Highlight of the match was Scotty Mac's massive leap over 4 defenders, only for the umpire to wave play on. It was huge.

Numbers wise I think we were missing about 8 regular A graders, but I did hear Glenunga were 4-5 short as well.

Had a little chuckle when the bloke I was standing yelled out "Go fitzroy".....Ooops

Good grab that one & dont know how it wasnt paid.

Pretty good game to watch as both side were impressive & looing forward to the Brahma hitout tonight

Guess some old habits are hard to break lol

Cheers to the Adelaide Uni guys for coming out and having a kick, always good fun with those lads.

I think next time we need to give up players in the B Grade we wont make it our 3 best players!

A V C grade was a good hit out, AU getting the jump and running out about 5-6 goal winners. Good day overall.

Trinity had a trial v Salisbury West today. We went down by a handful of goals in each game I think. We only had 33 players to play 8 quarters which made it tough. Bloody cricket finals and clipsal. They played a very young team in the first game and had some unbelievable speed. A good balance of young and experienced player in the second game. Some of their young guys can really play. It was a good hit out and we've got a few things to work on early in the season.

Hamley played much like the top five teams from Div 6 last year, so provided a good test for us and an indicator of where we need to be at during the year. Unfortunately we had a number of key players not available, so Rexy had to throw a few players in the deep end, but it gave us the opportunity have a good look at some in different positions and see what the new players are capable of.
