Walkerville oval is very ordinary atm. 2 ducks are currently playing out of the forward pocket there. It would be silly to play there, would pull up with very heavy legs and would be at higher risk of injuries on that surface.

Our oval is in bad condition guys, nothing to do with beer sponsorship. although I would rather a green labeled beer over a can of red death any day ;)

Was boggy last week, tipping it would be a lot worse now with more rain. Could it also be that the oval is pretty much open access and unable to charge money, plus the fact Walkies would rather play on a bigger oval, which would suit their fast movement a lot better. Add all that up and you end up at Thebby.

I found it more than vexing. If you earn it you play it there, seems logical to me. Last time i coached a final (and the only time) i had to go to eastern park on a Sunday and lost by a goal. A result i was confident we could have reversed had we not headed to dwight reserve. Even if the oval is a shambles (condition wise) train in it and climatise yourself and take any advantage you can get....I do hope for the Catters sake they do bounce back and avoid another premature finals exit. im confident that the Walkies boys will bounce back and dont think that Mr Fischer will have 2 bad games in a row. Go you Cats!

Not sure of all this premature finals exits and going to water in finals comments. We made the elimination final last year in our 1st year back in Div 2 and won the flag the year before.
Game report - our disposal killed us. Sooo many turnovers that cost us. Call it finals pressure or whatever but we weren't up to scratch and uni were. Need to pull it together for this weeks game against SPOC. Should be a good contest.

he's actually played in every grade that uni have over his years with the club including the now defunct farmers from roseworthy.
