green is playing at clg despite persistent rumours of him leaving he is very happy!

harvey is playing again, looking very fit, winning the runs etc

visser is staying too, loves the place and is captain at age 21!

both bentley bros resigned, along with apo, ramsey etc, also regained stephen hammond who returns from waybacks fc, where he was top 10 in association medal and won best under 21 player

Re-signed? Obviously all these guys are on contract$ because you don't sign anything to continue playing at the same club year after year.

get a bloody life mate, re-signed/commited for 2009! the bentley boys would be in div 6s top 22 players! Luke is a fantastic strong full back and Justin a class onballer! both blokes playing for nothing and are about to enter there 5th season with the club! geez i went to school with them and am the reason why they came to play at clgfc!

Re-signed?   Obviously all these guys are on contract$ because you don't sign anything to continue playing at the same club year after year.
also every player at clgfc signs a club contract at the start of the year which makes them obliged to follow the clubs rules etc, also gives us piece of mind knowing that if a player is contracted, other clubs cant come along and offer them $$$ to leave!

Interesting rumour....i guess if they are going to be playing out at EP again they would probably start training out there soon also?

I would also like to know how other then being unfinancial from last season or signing a contract with EP for this year how EP could not clear them?

Or will this simply be different clubs trying to play "the game" and doing their best and not clearing people until the last minute like always seems to happen?

eddie v how are things looking at the lodge this year heard that there are a heap of new recruits any names and are they much chop could be a very good year for the tigers.

Units have history for showing no respect, playing dirty and having absolute ferral supporters. When members of the committee are on the sidelines with a loud speaker yelling abuse thru it, well...... ferral. There's stronger words I could use but FC will be all over me like a rash...

whats the news out at glenunga? I heard they were on the brink of signing two quality recruits. A 6ft wingman/playmaking flanker and a reliable back pocket. Both with sanfl experience. This news is first hand, and they should push to sign these two quick smart.

Things are looking quite good out at the Lodge at this point in time. Some of the recruits i think are quite high quality. This is evident in our scratch match games where a couple stand out and also in training skills wise. With these things only time will tell how it will all come togeather on the first weekend in April and beyond. If you want to know the names im sure if you look back over some previous posts around late November you will find a couple of the new recruits listed.
