So i have been told... The B grade will kick off @ 7 and the A grade some time after that. Not sure how many quarters are being played so not sure of time for A grade. It will basically be a mix of A and B graders for both sides though i would assume.
Really looking forward to having a run around on the old stomping ground too.

Spot on, BL kicked the first goal of the game and then it was all one way as EP piled on the goals. BL had a much more respectable second half to only go down by 12 goals in the end. I would imagine EP took the foot off the pedal a little and tried some players in different positions etc. as you do in trial games. But overall i think both sides got some positives out of it.
EP are a very young side that are very fit and quite solid for their age. I think i was told their full back is 30 and then their is a couple of 26-27 years olds and the rest are 25 and younger.
What stood out to me was they were all prepared to run and support each other everywhere across the ground, both with and without the footy. As soon as BL had the footy there was bugger all time to decide what to do with it as there would be 2-3 players shutting you down straight away, EP's pressure on the ball carrier was great. The when they had the footy their spread and run was exceptional because they actually wanted to footy. A great bunch of kids that have alot of confidence amongst them, wish them all the best in Div 3 this year.
Now on to another Div 3 side in Salisbury next Saturday, looking fwd to that hit out.

They have had strong 18s for a long time so I would assume that is where all their run and youth come from.
Always helps when they have been playing together in jnrs
