i know some people are for the 2 teams to go up are the minor premiers and the premiers. So you could go out in straight sets and still be rewarded with promotion. Ridiculous idea i think. Not good enough to make the GF from top spot, well bad luck

I'm of the opposite, I don't mind seeing the team that played the best over the whole season get rewarded, could've copped a swag of injuries against a team that had no chance of playing finals in the last minor round match of the season which ruined them.

I agree with cash123s response earlier that the 4th best side is hardly in the same boat as the premier, runner up, or the third contender. In the promotion perspective the 4th best side in div2 probably would find it difficult to compete in div1 the following year (on most occassions). So 3up only

But - on the relegation perspective what club committee is proud to finish 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th. A successful year? I think not, we were pretenders

So out with pretenders & in with contenders I say, as we'll enhance the quality of the competition, as well as the interest in the comp 10 fold

Mate it's hard, clearly your brain is moving at a million miles an hour how can you keep control of your thoughts.

Why not a 20 team comp play every one once and the blokes at the top of the table win the comp it can be called the premier league?
