So did Jack Riewoldt when he won the Coleman, what's your point?

Stringer has dominated in the ruck for us. Madden at CHB has had a great year too. And how could you forget Baby Face Fromm?

Stringer the big Mark Blake look a like is the best tap ruckman in the competition. I've watched every PNU game (unfortunately) and it's difficult to remember a ruckman that comes close.

imo Roberts and Heath do more for their teams in the Ruck and around the ground. stringer was beaten imo when we played them. but may have killed everyone else
forward line is tough. i think you have to go for the guys with the goals on the board. it would be either Fromm or cantwell for me and id take cantwell everytime

FS, had a look at the home of footy today after a message from junior boss. It has been a while since I have seen it that bad. Entire oval had 3 to 4 inches of water on it. I know Jim has cancelled most of junior training this week, but can't see it recovering anytime soon, especially with the forecast rain tomorrow. Also had a look at Hope Valley, GG and TTG, would you believe HV was the best of all, by a fair way.

The new changerooms are pretty bloody good now too

Would Clay (PD) be a chance? Has done well, being a small forward with 37 goals.
I would have also suggested Sampson (PD), but feel he may have missed too many games.

a lot of blokes have kicked good tallys this year, he was probably next in for mine.
just think all those others are game changes for their clubs.

Interesting call TB. I have watched every Modbury game this year and don't always know the opposition players. I think I would look at the 2 dominant sides in the comp this year, ie ROCS and Walkies and probably up to half from those two sides. If the comp was more even, then the spread should be more even. SPOC ruckman against Hawks dominated early, but then got smashed the more the game went on. Stringer to me absolute standout ruckman, dominates centre square. I would then look at 1 from each of the other teams, ie PD - Gunning, Iggies - Willoughby, if you get my drift. Then perhaps look at other outstanding players. MY thoughts only.

Athelstone by a point over PAOC - end of finals hopes, Walkerville by 8 goals over a Modbury team that looked good when they played the ball.

as far as a contest goes PAC vs Athelstone was a good game. as far as a good game of footy it was a long way off. both teams were pretty awful with their delivery at times, and generally it was pretty painful too watch.

can anyone from athelstone let us know how those 2 lads in the b-grade that broke their legs are going?? they were both very ugly. especially the 2nd bloke.

He may have left his run a little late. Also the terraces have been heard singing "no Munns in the team of the year, no Munns in the team of the year" so that probably doesn't help his chances

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
