i think home ground advantage will be very strong. Any team that can get a few wins on the road in tight compition will be worth double.

I'll have a crack at the ladder for 2010

Adel Lutheran
Plympton

...GAP...

Blackfriars
Brahma Lodge
Elizabeth
Hectorville
HopeValley
North Haven
Rosewater
Smithfield

The first 2 are clear cut, the rest are simply in alphabetical order, too hard to pick the rest in any other order. I got a feeling Div 5 this year will be very similar to Div 1 in 2009 in that 1 game and percentage could be the difference between finals or relegation. Winning all your home games and pinching a couple of away wins will be vital. Injuries throughout the year will play a big part and any team not switched on each week will be left wondering what happened??

Some massive fence sitting going here, but I honestly believe it will be that close...

Sorry mate, thought u may have been smart enough to realise what the tounge in cheek emoticon means!

And for the record, it's pretty hard to keep commenting on a club that I wasn't at for the last 15 rounds of last year. Luckily for me I'm free of my work responsibilties in 2010. Noone likes a broken record mate

And there are a couple who arnt going to play because of the new recruits?
why would they not play because of some of the recruits? i wouldve thought thats only going to help your club.

i couldnt believe all this when the guy was telling me.

I know we have lost 2 players to eastern park. Travis mckee (going oversaes in june for 3 months) and one if not both friels. As for bell man and RV, nobody knows. They both signed to contracts for the 2010 season so maybe its the lodge or out of footy for 2010. Lehmann made a grand apperance at the internal trial last night and looked good. Pretty sharp for a bloke that hasn't been training. WIll be a 100% starter. Rhodsy retired at the end of last year and no intention of playing. I know his missus is fed up with him, so i expect him to be out in the next feew weeks.

I think the only players we will lose from last year will be the boys going to eastern park and one to central united. In the mean time we have picked up a couple handy replacments. Oveall i think we will be a better side in 2010 than 2009, but how competetive against season div 5 sides will be the question.

Hope that helps
