Just noticed a clearance for Jamie Clancy back to SHOC.

That must ouch for the WOS gang...

wouldve been 6months ago now, wouldn't it?

If he did everything right*, he could be back around May.

* 0% chance of this happening

3rd recon now, rushed back after his last 1 to play finals and was under done, said he will try and come back late in the season if Havens are going ok. and you know as well as i do FC that he is the least likely bloke to take recovery seriously

Fingers crossed everything goes right for us and he comes back in late season.

I think he will just be there for a run around with a few past players coming back. Had a fairly bad groin injury and I think Cavos workload wouldn't help that

Will tear sides apart in D6. Seen him rip very, very good players apart. One of the quickest guys I have seen. Most importantly he has super quick hands in traffic. A great get by Lockleys

Dylan Frank will play at Rossies. Lippo wont play. Tommy causing carnage in WA at the moment and for the next month, but not a chance of playing this year. Hamstring tears from dancing could nearly be as bad as the knee.

Lippo might get heckled by James Pattinson and David Hussey when he returns ;)

Quite a few West Croydon guys wanting to head to Rosewater I see Demonseye, any reason why they're getting 'denied'?

i thought the rule was you can claim for the last year they actually played so even if they miss 2-3 years if they didnt pay subs for the final year they still owe that

Well i thought that was the case as well but does the two paragrahs highlighted contadict themselves, easiest thing to do is put a call into John at the League, he has been very helpfullfor me.

SACFL Regulations

9. Clearance - Cannot Be Refused

9.1 Financial Indebtedness and Contractual Obligation
A player of an Affiliated League Club to who has no financial indebtedness (applies to Subscriptions for the players previous season played only) or contractual obligation to that Club must not and cannot be refused a Clearance on any grounds.
The standard SACFL Leagues Playing Contract, in a form approved by the Board from time to time; will be the only contract recognised in the instance of any appeal where 'Contractual Obligation' is given as the reason for any refusal of a Clearance.
Clubs refusing a player transfer due to contractual obligation must supply a copy of such contract to their Affiliated League by no later than 5:00pm on the next business day (Refer Appendix 6)

9.2.1 Validation is required by both Affiliated Leagues and Affiliated League Clubs.

In short, the only reasons a club can deny a clearance is you have valid contract for the player’s services or he has not paid his subs from the year before
. Regardless, proof of the reason must be supplied to the SAAFL and in turn the SACFL by 5:00pm the next working day

Socks, shorts, guernseys, or anything similar cannot be used as a reason for denial.

So when you say Socks, Shorts and Guernseys - does that mean like when a player signs for a club and they sometimes get that gear given to them, then they can make the player have to pay for that before being cleared?

Or does it refer to if a player has taken a guernsey etc from the clubs kit?

Um ring the League but the only way i can see it being a issue is if the socks and that were included in your fees for the season.

Taking a jumper out of a kit isnt a reason to knock back a clearnce, but once again ring the league
