$7.50 now Morell? :)

$7.50 is too big. They should be a lot shorter than that. They haven't just picked up Ortmann, they've also picked up Troy Potuszynski, Mark Harrison, Ben Metcalf (Happy Valley), Anthony May, Grant Gluza (Edwardstown) and Cohen Somerville (Mitcham). Some handy recruits there and don't expect Mawson Lakes and SHOC to have it all their way in 2011.

Think u will find majority of those guys have played plenty of footy at the den in recent years so wouldn't really call them ins so to speak. Biggest in i can see is blokes actually commiting themselves and select few a much needed change of attitude. Would expect to see a much improved parks side this year . All the best boys

Any of these blokes good enough to help Ross Brokensha at Flinders Uni this year. Jack Strudwicke, Josh Beckwith, Richard Lang, Steven Blake, Simon Bray, Nick Quigley, Rob Gilroy, Zack Rosato and Scott Luxton all at the Crabs for 2011 but is it enough?

You see, this profession is filled to the brim with unrealistic mother ****! Mother **** who thought their ass would age like wine. If you mean it turns to vinegar, it does. If you mean it gets better with age, it don't.

is it true that the biggest recruit not mentioned Chris"THE HITMAN"Rogers has come out of retirement
if so he ,imo is the most important pickup they will get except for the dynamite full forward they used to have when he desides to go home to the den

Ortmann is a big in, I will give you that one.
Potters has played with us before but had a year at HV last year, not a new recruit
I doubt Mark Harrison will play this year for numerous reasons
Ben Metcalf is a fringe A/B grade player but is a handy pick up.
May is an in, I'll give you that one as well.
Gluza is another solid A grade player.
Cohen Somerville - I am going to be honest, I don't actually know who he is!

All in all from that list we have gained Ortmann and May as "star" for want of a better word A Grade players. They are both offset by the loss of Ben Weekley, David Maylin and Colin Sumner.

We are a long, long way off Mawson Lakes and SHOC at this stage based on last years form and the clearances page of the SAAFL news.

Yeah Chris Rogers is back playing but he will most likely have to work for a lot of the Saturdays and will only be playing B Grade. Great to have him back around the club though as he is a first rate individual.

Hopefully he brings his KI mates back as well.

You're too modest Morell. It'll be the Mitchell Park Maulers and the Mawson Lakes Masters in the Grand Final this year. Mark it down. Give us the new odds

Also heard Adrian Hart at Athelstone has his work cut out by his mate Herb at the Raggies. Seems Herbie has pinched all the ex old A graders that were in his 'C's and brought them up to his now 'B's. Mal Grossman and co will now play for him in the B grade leaving their Div 7 'A' grade side short on talent.
