Not sure of the idea of starting a game at 4.45pm because it was pretty dark when I left, hope the light's where good. I no it is only a trial but I would be very susprised if Glenunga don't play finals in div 6 this year with there new players.

B Grade won by 96 points

A grade lost by 30 or so points.

It was a good game. The B game was delayed because Brahma Lodge left their guernseys at Brahma Lodge.

I left at half time too. Glenunga look the goods and after seeing them in action I'd have to shorten their odds - Buss was carving up in the midfield. Hard to comment on the Lodge as they were clearly missing at least half a dozen A-Graders.

Was he no 3 Quichey?

Yep.

Is he one of the Fitzroy boy's, no 14 the full forward goes allright as well. They also have a few talls and I can see why they decide to come up to div 6. If they stayed in div 7 they would have been coming up next year but It could have been with a flag.

Thanks to Blackfriars for the hit out last night, was actually a quality game of football. Not sure how full strength they were but they did enough to suggest they will be around the mark in Div 6 this year. I hope the full forward (Hillman I think) who did his shoulder is alright. All the best for the rest of the year.

Yep, Buss is ex-Fitzroy. #14 is Roberts who was their leading goal-kicker last year.

Looks like Rexy will be tagging no. 3 and you will be standing no. 14 then Quichey!

It was a good game. The B game was delayed because Brahma Lodge left their guernseys at Brahma Lodge.

Highlight of the match was Scotty Mac's massive leap over 4 defenders, only for the umpire to wave play on. It was huge.

Numbers wise I think we were missing about 8 regular A graders, but I did hear Glenunga were 4-5 short as well.

Had a little chuckle when the bloke I was standing yelled out "Go fitzroy".....Ooops

Had a look at the Ingle Farm sporting club website last night and couldn't beleive what i saw.
Firstly the senior footy page had been updated (first time since 2010 pre season).
Secondly, the only update on it was the new committee, which has Paul Niven on it. Is this the ex coach who assulted someone in the carpark and quit before he got sacked, mid season.
Thirdly, The junior contact is "peter Penfold (the phone number you already should have)"

Classic :Hangman:
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....

Bos, Trinity, Clg, Kenilworth, Houghton, Glenlunga and Central United, 7 good sides all good enough to make finals, two good side will miss out of Sept action.

Don't rule Central United out just yet, they have recruited well. They will be a very good running side, just lack a couple of good talls to compete with the top 4. Only if they had secured Bellman last year, maybe they should ring Halliday or Tuckey to give them some more height.
