Any truth to the rumour Alf Steed strained a hammy at training this week ? I have it from a very reliable source.

Fair barage Newman, but you must be a passionate man for your club. Yes, we won the flag, but on field and off between the players and staff there was no animosity. We beat you fair and square and deserved the premiership.

What does bother me is the club down the road who obviously have some terrible internal issues.
For guys like Cox, Clarke and Sampson to leave a footy club is a disgrace. All three of them are quality individuals and need to be given more respect. We were stoked to see Clarkey walk back into our club and he is now a premiership player for PDFC. We couldn't be happier.

I hope next year we (SRFC & PDFC) can be more than competitive and knock off our closest rivals. None of us want to be Yo Yos and head back to A2.

Congrats to Michael Gower also on his medal tonight. Genuine nice guy. Wish he played for us.

Altilo told us tonight that we can't afford him. Oh, well.

We will keep Steedy instead!

Well done to Gowsy. Gun player.

BIt dissapointing not to have a game against Districts or Rambler next year, but well done to Both clubs for going up. And I hope you pump Henley royally and send them back to DIv 2.

We ran into some of the Districts boys down the Port yesterday. Great bunch of blokes.

PS. Lions for 2008 Divvy 2 Premiers!
