Frank - solid midfielder, will be good in D6

Cahill - very injury prone, hasnt played a game in about 4 or 5 years although been signed with portland and NH, was a gun
when 18, if an get on the park will be handy

Scarr - was the lead ruckman for Iggies 2 years ago, big lump of a lad go well in D6

Shannon - played Bs & Cs at Portland due to not training, goes alright out on a wing but need to get him to train

Good value considering they knocked us off last year! Very tough team to beat at home.

Agreed and with Paul Sherwood at the helm they'll be even better. Nobody is even talking about them, they are the sleeping giants of this div and flying ridiculously under the radar. Should be equal faves IMO with Rosewater.

Heard at Golf on Saturday that Rosies have a very big Footy budget to play with in 2013.The figure quoted to me by a Rosewater life member nearly made me fall off my buggy seat.Hope it isnt true,cos a large waste of members money for success in Div 6 if its the case.

cohen mattner is a small full forward and very quick. Can kick goals from anywhere and can kick it bout 70. Didnt play last year though. As for chickowski he played b grade last year

On another note I reckon if CLG can recruit well enough they might be a chance at the five.

Also think Lockleys should make the finals of they can improve on last year.

i think the consensus is that as tough as div 6 in 2012 was..2013 maybe even harder..i honestly cant see the "easy" game

With an opinion like that EM (be it correct or not).... What good comes of 'forcing' a side into a competition where they may become the 'easy game' as you have put it.... For a C and D grade side/s this can be demoralising for these teams.... Players that played last year will retire/chuck it in as they are not up to playing against A & B grade sides each week (step up in training and commitment).... This in turn effects the clubs depth/player numbers and involvement - cash flow drops and so on.... Something needs to be done - Yes the 2 up and 2 down needs to be enforced.... However, maybe a re-visiting of the proper C grade comps?? ie all D1 clubs C & D grade sides play off in C1 etc.... Yes I know it is not a 'perfect' world and some clubs do not have the 4 grades, but I think the idea has merit and needs to be looked at /trialed again....

There has also been mention on here about Ingle Farm thinking they 'had to' nominate for Div 7 and await the response from the promoted clubs to Div 6.... Obviously this was not the case... Maybe some more communication to your club's during this process would be in order so the right hand knows what the left hand is doing???? The word consistency.... or lack of..... springs to mind....

I thought it was $500 and Tom Lipson isn't playing at Rosies

Both are false. Lippo hasnt been spoken to and dylan is nowhere near that sort of money. No one in amateurs would spend that much for one player
