It was a good solid hitout with both teams having around 30 players to trial. A few of our a's didnt play as did didnt a few of theirs. Great idea to play at 6 wasnt overly hot with a bit of cloud cover and then the shade come over aswell. Nice large crowd too, bar takings would have been alright.

I reckon Ingle Farm would've had a few decent players missing. A handful of our A-graders played the last quarter of the Reserves game, which would account for us getting a couple of goals up. Good hit-out for all concerned and most of it played in the shade.

you guys were lucky then. We played the first 3 quarters in full blown sunshine!! It was bloody hot!! Nice to get some run in the legs and nice to give our grand final nemesis from last year (b grade) a bit of a touch up, regardless of who we did or didn't have playing and regardless of who they did or didn't have playing!!
