SHOC giving SMOSH a touch up has made the relegation battle a tight one. Only 1 point separating 6th to 9th now. Two massive games next weekend - Walkies v SHOC and Gepps v Kilburn

The way Geppies are playing at the moment we are a lock to go down. Sad but true.

If thats happens, Geppies coach would not be a happy chappy!

Bit of a disspoitning result for my lads inthe 2's on Saturday. To be right with PAOC for the first half was a gfreat effort but coming out of the main break PA put the foot down. There ruckmen (sorry cant remember his number or name) completely dominated and their onballers adjusted brilliantly. 5 goals in 4.5 mins was too hard to pull back. We managed to reign it in a little when they managed to kick away again. To be down by a decent margin and then lose by 4 kicks was better than what it could have been with the way they went about it in the 3rd. Still for us we are improving compared to last year. Normally the 2's last year they were getting done by 10-20 goals. On average this year its been roughly 5-6 goals with not being able to stay in touch with the higher sides. To PA credit they were very good through the middle and rebounded extremely well off half back. Stop that run and carry it should hold them back. Modbury beating Pt Dist was unexpected. Good result for Modbury though. Smosh over SHOC was very much a surprise. Anyone able to go throught that. SHOC were good against us and have been most of this year but it looks like SMOSH has found a gear. We only went down to SMOSH by 11 pts a couple weeks ago. For me Walkerville will still be the team to beat. I can only see Flinders Park giving them a close run. The top 4 looks set to me. The only changes could be 5th and 6th. With the struggles Modbury have had this year it would be good to see their b grade make the finals. For us it will now be about consistant effort to get some reward. Should be an interesting last part of the year.

Was a great win for us over SHOC in the 2's on the weekend. Probably our first 4 quarter effort for the season. Was pretty close most of the day but then started to get away from them in the last. Definitely starting to gain some momentum but can't get ahead of ourselves. Nearly every game is an elimination final for us. The result against SHOC shows when we play at our best we can match it with the top sides.

In other news Smosh away changerooms what a disgrace.
Only had about 2 or 3 lights out of 6 working and they were very dim at that.
3 showers in which 2 didnt muster enough force to wipe off a single bit of dirt.
And finally benches that weren't stable and were probably used in WW1.

One of the most important positions on the field when playing Gepps is the bloke that talks to Gino at 1/4 and 3/4 time so he can't get out to the umpires.
