Parham is subject to physical pressure if I remember correctly so maybe a little roughing up early will make him vanish!
How are Cibich, White, Edwards and the younger guys travelling Top End??

Cibich or Edwards or Fraser, did not play at st micks v mitcham, while Sam White played. Young uns OK: not getting much more out of me than that. Few to come back in.
Haha, I played alot of my junior footy with those boys, up until we finished school so Im well aware of what there capable of
No need to be so secretive Top End
was just curious to see how they are travelling?!
cibich, and Edwards*(williams) both had cricket so werent available, white only played a half but looked in good shape; played a bit more up the ground than usual, and seemed to enjoy it.
minners is obviously throwing every1 around a bit and learning about his players... expect to see a pretty different SMOSH this year.

cibich played last week v phos at thebarton and was super.
fair enough, mixing it up as all coaches do in trials
Sam is best in the backs though and I would expect to see him there again

Cibich is so fast, it is ridiculous

that is a massive loss for PH if true. they wont have a chance at beating any top sides without him. that was there main strength last year; their forward line. without him is nothing special.

As good as Shane is, one person doesnt make the team

The side will adapt without him for however long it is that he is out and im not sure the injury is as bad as thought. You still have Frick and Flynn (no CHB can hold him quiet for a game) to hold down key positions in the forward line and are more than capable footballers.

Maybe theres room for a returning player to line up down there to

i totally agree, hanson from the very little i have seen of him was awsome but flynn also was dominant the games i have seen, my mind isnt made up on frick at this stage but that may be because the other 2 mentioned were focal points and did all the damage,im sure frick is a more than worthy replacement and the loss of hanson (for how ever long it will be) wont be slaughtering PH finals hope by any stretch i wouldnt have thought

yeah Fricky generally got the third string tall defender so it will be a major test for him to tackle a quality defender week in week out

Also funny how No Mercy comes back to coach when Seaton are at rock bottom.. He was always healthy enough to be drinking cans watching Port Magpies play their Sunday games!!

It sounds like pick on no-mercy day today!
I think you should do the same Cock75, worry about your side PAOC ( i bet its not your team ), i can't recall ever posting anything about them either.
You shouldn't go embarrassing yourself making assumptions you do regarding the Seaton coach, for your info he was at alot of Seaton games last year helping out when he could, even at training still supporting his club ( thats where he was when going through the divisions ), having a break from the game is a good thing to renew your enthusiasm after being involved for 30 years without a break, he's one coach that puts alot of hard work into sponsorship aswell as his coaching,
I suppose getting the results he has in the past as a player & coach upsets a few people like you Cocky75, i call it "jealousy."
The results are on the board pal, 8 League premierships as a player, no premiership as a coach but success in developing players, improving the club environment & financial position, keeping the club in higher Divisions ( A1 for 3 years 02-03-04 ) do you want me to keep going Cocky one? i could be here for hours, maybe we could hear what you've done with yourself in your time, i bet it would all fit on the back of a matchbox!!
I might see you at a Port Magpies game this year Cocky one, i hope you have the balls to match your name & introduce yourself.
Noooooo i don't think you have. :-bd

Drove past Thebarton Oval on Saturday and watched a bit of CBC v Adelaide Lutheran. CBC looked ok, but I thought Lutheran looked like a handy outfit as well. Noticed they are in Div 5, with CBC in Div 3 but didn't look to be out of their depth Saturday so they might be in for a good year.. Jarman didn't play though from what I saw.

I haven't seen PAOC mentioned in any trial form - have they played any yet? Also noticed they have a new coach from last year so they might struggle in the higher division maybe

Funny how everyone that has something to say about seaton or No Mercy claims he is hiding behind a computer to say everything...

Until they post their full name with a picture so everyone can tell who they are, then they are the ones hiding behind a computer and a false name IMO

I was there too sheeds and agree with you about Lutherans although CBC played half their A Grade in each game (eg) Bazza and Primus played in the first game

We had 2 games against Kadina yesterday. New coach is Rocky Butterworth who was the assistant coach last year and David Marsh is still heavily involved in the club

Was a good hit out for us. Six quarter trials are never a true indication, we had a mixture of A's and B's playing in all 6 quarters, where as they were cleary B's in first half and A's second half.
THey have better depth this year but look slightly less tall than last year. I would suggest they would take some beating in div 5.

PAOC lose nothing with Rocky as their head coach, I suspect that he had a bit to do in last years win.
