What is so embarrassing about saying you are or you are not playing on next season, whether it is in front of others or not?? I would have thought it was a good thing that a coach wants to know what players he has or hasn't got asap. From what iv heard of S.Hodges he is very professional and probably would have been working on season 08 a week after 07 finished. Maybe too professional for the Amateur league. Alot of players at this level can't take the heat. They are after all MEN not little boys! There were NO SAAFL guests at Rams that presentation night so get your facts right!

I've embarassed myself by pointing out that your players committed themselves to Seaton then bailed on the club.

I had an open mind about what happened but Rotter seems to have far more credibility than you two clowns. Your overly defensive tripe and insults haven't actually disagreed with anything that has been said. Players committed and then took off.

Maybe you need to teach people at Seaton to be men and not boys and to hold their word. Then you wont have these problems in the first place.

I will try Shrek, everytime Seaton get to Div1 they seem to have players bailing for the lower grades, its been happening for years.
Hodges knew what players he had behind him & what he had to recruit prior to his illness, when a new coaching appointment has been made i think its up to the new coach to do something similar & speak to all as a group, if you don't you tend to lose players very quickly when sides like Districts are ready to pounce & thats exactly whats happened here.

No seriously, I've had a look at your past posts and I think you have a very unhealthy fascination with the Seaton Football Club.

Come in sometime and bring your partner (if you have one) and Im sure youll agree. We are playing Scotch in a trial this week and you are most welcome.

As long as your happy with the club that's the main thing!

I'm just going on the feelings of a couple of good mates who played out there for a couple of years and without going into any details (as I'm not trying to bad mouth the club) did not enjoy it. Things may have changed since then, and lots of people must love it because as people have said they have been successful.

heard brodview C's are short and are getting players from your c7/ speacial needs team, also heard that a few could push 4 B grade is this true all just s#$t

There is no C grade at Broadview this year, they have mostly all retired. Few have pushed up into the B's but the D or C grade this year is made up of a full deaf team. They have had a couple of deaf players playing over the last couple of years, and lots more were interested so they have started up a full team of deaf guys. Apparently they have a permit to play in C6 or C7 instead of C1 so its more competitive. Apparently they have a couple of players that could play much higher but due to the deafness i'm not sure how that works out.

Whos going to win in Round 1?

Seaton Ramblers v Gaza
Salisbury North v Broadview
Rostrevor OC v Tea Tree Gully
Gepps Cross v Goodwood Saints
Port District v Henley

I think Gaza too strong for the Rams, Salis nth and broadview a close one as with TTG and ROCs, saints too good for Gepps.
Districts and Henley should be close, if trial form has anything to do with it.

Yes chicky only because i saw their trial game a week ago & the numbers Districts had out that game was the reason i'm selecting them, henley may take a couple more weeks to gel but i expect the return of key players to the Districts side this week which will improve their side immensly.
