Indeed. The worst story I have heard amongst football scuttlebug circles occurred much closer to the Ramsgate than the Smithfield Hotel.

Just because you have a boy band hair cut and a $80 singlet doesn't mean you cant be a feral scumbag.

You're asking the guy from Mitchell Park? We get our singlets from Target once a year at Christmas in a 10 pack for $5.

But here you go, pretty sure I even saw some of the Henley boys wearing this one:

$69.95 from Surf Stitch:

Footy Chick wrote:SMiffies have obviously been a standout in the A grade this year.

However, for them to even be here in 2014, they signed and agreed to a stringent set of rules arising from many incidents during the 2013 season. To my knowledge, I don't think they are the only club on such an agreement.

As a result of incidents coming out of an U18's match, the U18's have been disqualified from competition. The club as a whole has lost 8 premiership points and have probably been fined heavily as per their terms and conditions of their affiliation agreement.

This must be crushing to the A grade folk who have worked very hard to be where they are now but unfortunately they were aware of the implications of playing up.

Best of luck to Great Catch and our other Smiffy posters for the rest of the year. I'm sure they'll play hard but fair like the team we're all used to.

Was part of this agreement they would play all home games at Thebby this year and this would be reviewed for season 2015 ???????????

$80 is what the Henley training singlets cost.

Though they get a 10% discount after they pay their $500 subs.

Seriously?

Impressed they can field 4 sides at those prices. They'd be at least double relative to most clubs

from the houghton website...

"to become a houghton player each player must donate sheep to the footy club, or face paying the no-sheep tax of $100 per season"

When we did a straw poll approximately half of the quoted Henley number was the average.

Maybe thats why they're always wearing their girlfriends denim shorts! They can't afford their own. My apologies Henley dudes, I'll be more sympathetic to your plight next time.

Never had an issue with Smithfield and most people I chat to didn't either. Actually find them to be some of the most genuine, down to earth people I've ever played against/associated with....

The two years we played against them in div 5 I didn't find the players dirty at all it was mainly the supporters that caused all the trouble.
