Great man Greg, but bad move by Kilburn if true. He Is way past it.

Way past coaching Div 3 amateurs  A man that won how many premierships and played how many games of AFL and coached Div 1?

I think you will find he might just go OK.

The man loves his fishing and football. Hope the Chic's get value for their $$$$ cause I'm sure he'll come with a price tag based on the stint he had with SN.....

Rumour has it that SMOSH's B grade coach has been told by the Seaton FC bosses that if he applies for their A Grade job its his.
I also hear that SMOSH's A Grade coach could be heading back to Henley FC? You would think their B Grade coach would then get their A grade job if interested?
Be interesting how this one plays out!

I was told Lucas and the club parted ways last night but didn't speak to him direct. But sounds like their may be some substance to the rumors.

No great surprise at PNU but Macca reappointed for a 10th year.

Anyone know what the "blanks" in the Tribunal Columns mean: http://www.saafl.asn.au/football/tribunal?

Surely he didn't get off?

You talking about Paul Cahill? There are no blanks on the form: He got 2 matches with another 2 suspended?

My mail was that he left not he was asked to leave, don't believe everything you read and hear i guess. Apologies to SMOSH if Its wrong

Team of the Year seems pretty reasonable.
6'3+ policy in the forward line, but fair call as the tall fwds seemed to dominate this year.
But ffs, Angus Clarke not the best ruckman in the comp? What's the going on there!?

Clarke and Rowett easily he best two, thought Clarke was beaten the first time we played Unley but was very good the second time. Rowett probably did more around the ground when we played PNU but Clarke's tap work was better.

Forward line needs at least one small, I might've taken Dan Cahill out seeing as he missed six-odd games with his broken arm. If this side was playing a real game you couldn't possibly start with that forward six, as good as they all are. Without sounding biased, Jay Mansfield won our goalkicking by a streak and I think was the best small forward in the comp.

CHB was probably the other position that I'm not sure is right. I only saw Seaton three times but Hynes didn't play a whole lot of CHB from what I saw. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong Ramblers people. I think Mick Newell from Athelstone missed a few but is very good, same with Brewer.

Great to see Chad Barmby get a gig, very well deserved.

It baffles me why someone so high up at SMOSH would start such a rumour.
