Great idea abber. I am amazed they let T.Creek back for another chance :? . He's done his dash well and truly now.

He certainly has and its unfortunate that the young lad has had to be the victim for a mistake the saafl hierarchy have made again

I imagine that actually means significantly longer then six weeks?

What is the go now? My understanding is that Salisbury West placed a bond for Tyson to be registered in the SAAFL again.

My understanding of the process is now that he has been found guilty any bond put up for Tyson to play is lost and now belongs to the saafl, he will now be deregistered from saafl for life again with no right of appeal.

$3000

So as long as the league makes money out of it who cares that a bloke has had his jaw smashed!!! The mind boggles!!

I don't remember reading any where that some one has written they don't care if a bloke had his jaw smashed? Money was mentioned because some body did ask what happens now with Tyson Creek.

Tyson actually will miss at least 7 weeks as he didn't play the week before.

His brother was just suspended in the Hills league and the Hills league kicked him out as he is over the 12 game limit.

Apple don't fall to far from the tree.

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

The question now has to be asked where the SAAFL foolish in letting Tyson creek back into the league. Salisbury West forfeited a $2000 bond tthat the SAAFL placed on Tyson at the beginning of the season.

With a player suffering a broken jaw could there now be legal action pending against All parties concerned. There could be a lot explaining to do after this one.

My personal opinion is that he should have never been let back in the league. His record speaks for itself :x :x :x

Does anybody know what actually happened? We all know the outcome that one player suffered a broken jaw and Tyson has been suspended for 6 weeks. But how did the player get a broken jaw? I heard it happened in a tackle? From those that were there how did this all play out? Surely now the investigation is over this can be discussed.

Out of interest, are you both saying because the league de-registered him for going over the 16 games or whatever it is then re-registered him after an appeal, the league and the Salisbury West FC are cupable because the Scotch player got a broken jaw?

So where does the Bond money go Jimmy? Earning interest In the bank while there's a young fella in hospital with a busted face and now struggling to earn a crust because of the SAAFL's stupidity?

Don't think the SAAFL were foolish letting him play again. Dammed if they did not and dammed if they did on this one. He was long out of the game and who ever was responsible for letting him play again, (and I don't know him) would have to make a judgement call on what they hear and see. Difficult one, but could not possibly lead to an legal action for making a judgement call on letting a guy play football or not. How does any group of people know what someone will do, further down the track? All of us make judgement calls every day of the week. Some we get wrong and some right.

Now not everything they do at Thebarton is right, thats absolutely for sure - but to suggest the SAAFL are there to be earning bank interest on a lad who is badly injured is being ridiculous. I am sure something will be done to assist and in this instance, would not be a money grab. Being really stupid with those ideas or suggestions.

Bond money aside. If he did his knee and was in hospital with a recon, assuming he's not covered, one might say he was a little silly not having health insurance or IP.

That doesn't excuse the fact he has a broken jaw through what would now appear to be a deliberate attack but give the self righteous indignation a spell.

So, a dude commits murder and is subsequently jailed then paroled and goes out a murders again. Under your suggestion the parole board, the state government and lets throw in The Dept of Correctional Services for good measure can all be sued.
