Ingle Farm went down to Hope Valley today by around 7 or 8 goals, won the 2nd half though. Ran out of legs late.

Know Laughingkookaburra prob get into me but were still missing more than a dozen 1st choice blokes and it showed late in the game.

Infact was a little embarassing for the club when 11 B graders didnt front for the game and the C grade had to play 5 quarters, but to our credit a fresh HV B grade put on 11 goals to nothing in the 1st quarter but was 4 goals to 2 in the 2nd.

pg if you had 12 1st choice players out of that side today you will play off for sure, and be back in div 5 next year. however seeing both you and houghton the last fortnight i rate them a lot more than ingle farm, but to your credit were a lot more competitive. by the way we were absolutely chockers today not one player out ;) thought the long haired ruckman played pretty well, where is he from??

The ruckman is captain Grant Hawkesworths son Josh, kid is an absolute gun!! Wasnt keen on rucking but when our regular ruckman didnt front he got thrown in there and i rated him IF best player today.

I do agree with you to a degree as well, heard from a reliable source that Houghton looked irresistable today against CU and would easily be a class above and the side to beat this yr.

At the farmers, the focus isnt on finals at this stage or winning flags but on improving from last season, earning some respect and enjoying ourselves. Think we took massive steps today in doing that, losing by only 7 or 8 goals when last season we lost to your mob by 30 odd goals!

Think B grade won pretty easily and A grade went down by 4 goals against Heccies in a pretty scrappy affair.

Dozen 1st choice A & B graders or more than a dozen of your first 18? If it's the later and Hope Valley were full strength then i'd expect you to play top 3 footy.

Its wierd that you say that carey because everyone of us was thoroughly disappointed with our game. Pretty sure rex is gonna give us a flogging on tuesday night. Were all still playing footy together for the first time so once the team gels a bit more i think we will be alot better.
