Just an update for anyone out there, whether asssociated with teh club or not. Training has been going for 3 weeks now. 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Numbers have been sensational but I guess you'd expect that with 4 teams plus 1 (possibly 2 under 18 teams) on the cards. Some old faces have been seen out and plenty of new ones as well. Scotty Peterson has been training nicely and Scuddsy was trotting around Wednesday night too. A formidable pair those two... The new D grade team has seen a few old 'Burras' come out of retirement although I wouldn't expect to see them till the new year.
Some tri-athlons will also be done in the New Year as training steps up a notch to prepare for the higher standard we will see in Div 4. It's been great to see a heap of the young lads burning up the track and a few guys who know they need to put in a good pre-season getting out and putting their heads down and having a crack. The focus is on fitness and discipline at the moment, no mention of playing Div 4 yet or any crap like that. Just digging in and watching the new oval and clubrooms get built around us (slowly mind you...)
So if you're a GGFC boy and haven't been out yet, get out there and have a kick and catch up with your mates !!
Cheers lads
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Dont worry ive been keeping an eye on the boards just nothing has given me the inspiration to post for a while. It had been to long and the bad wheelie bin gags sucked me in.
